He moved to SARASOTA 15 years prior to that and worked as an installer for two other local companies. After doing that for a while, he was ready to go out on his own. Feeling compelled to provide his own quality installation services, International Wood Flooring was born. You might be wondering what prompted Larry to work with wood. Well, he has a carpentry background so, he says, "wood floors were just a natural transition." He loves the warmth, richness and timelessness that wood floors add to a home. Wood is also the only renewable floor product. Larry continues to work in the WOOD FLOORING industry because he knows the transforming difference wood will make by adding warmth and value to your home. International Wood Flooring has garnered a reputation over the years in the SARASOTA and BRADENTON areas. We’re known as the leaders in the wood flooring industry for our knowledge about our products, our quality installation work, and our professional service. ### Services Provided - Flooring Sales - Flooring Installation - Vinyl Flooring Installation - Wood Floor Installation - Wood Flooring Sales - Wood Floor Repair - Vinyl Flooring Sales - Baseboard Installation - Subfloor Installation ### Areas Served - Bradenton - Sarasota - University Park - South Bradenton - Bayshore Gardens - Fruitville - Palmetto - Sarasota Springs - Gulf Gate Estates - Bee Ridge - Longboat Key - West Samoset - Osprey - South Gate Ridge - Southgate - Siesta Key - The Meadows - Ridge Wood Heights - South Sarasota - Samoset - Lake Sarasota - Kensington Park - Vamo - North Sarasota - Desoto Lakes - Utopia - Oneco - Tallevast ## Business Details | Field | Value | | --- | --- | | Business Name | International Wood Floors | | Address | Sarasota, Florida 34232, United States | | Phone | (941) 366-4131 | | Website | http://internationalwoodfloorssrq.com/ | | Followers on Houzz | 36 | **Social profiles:** - Facebook — https://www.facebook.com/International-Wood-Floors-164603373566053/ - X (Twitter) — https://twitter.com/IntlWoodFloors ## Contact - **Houzz profile:** [International Wood Floors](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/flooring-contractors/international-wood-floors-pfvwus-pf~1738388280) - **Website:** http://internationalwoodfloorssrq.com/ - **Phone:** (941) 366-4131 ## Credentials - **Best of Houzz:** 6 awards (2012–2025), for Service, Design. ## Reviews **Overall rating: 5.0 out of 5 — 10 reviews** *Aspect averages:* - Work Quality: 5.0 - Communication: 5.0 - Value: 5.0 ### All 10 reviews **★★★★★ — HU-504209860, July 2024** > Being a repeat customer we had no concerns. I had previously gotten a quote from another company which was substantially higher for the exact same product. Mick was courteous, professional and knowledgeable when he came out to measure and provide a quote. Bernie was an excellent installer. He completed the job in less time than originally given and he worked by himself. Is it obvious he takes great pride in his work. I am been a CEO for four decades. I know how hard it is to get qualified, dependable and dedicated employees. There should be more Bernies in the workforce! **Comment from International Wood Floors:** > Thank you very much for your review. Our original contact, Mick, was fantastic understanding what we needed done. It wasn't easy as we had our stairs converted from carpet to LVP. So there was "construction" to be done to accomplish this. These stairs have two landings and some turns but they did a fantastic job. It looks amazing. The fit and finish was very professional. Couldn't be happier. And their administrator, Carrie, was very pleasant to work with also. They scheduled it, showed up on time, finished on time. Many others are no where close to that. **Comment from International Wood Floors:** > Thank you very much for your review. Then we had some water damage and they came out and perfectly repaired that damage. In today's world it is very rare to find caring professional that aren't just about the MONEY!!!!! **Comment from International Wood Floors:** > Thank you for the review!
