> I would not recommend this company.
> Our tenant experienced a breaker failure on July 29 and we contacted Emergency Response Electric, Romo and Lorraine for a repair. To their credit, Romo came out promptly and stabilized the situation and got the power back on. He returned the next day to replace other breakers and noted that part of the panel and old breakers had partially melted. He then recommended that we replace the entire panel.
> ERE quoted $6,000 for a new panel but reduced that to $4250 if I prepaid the expense. Looking at all the glowing reviews, I figured this was a good bet and agreed. In multiple communications Romo said that he would try to rush the permits but it could take weeks to get though the permitting and scheduling process with the city and SDGE.
> So, so far we are having a good (if not expensive) experience.
> At the 2 month mark we come to find out none of the paperwork has been processed and Romo apologized with a litany of reasons why they did not get this done and a promise to refund $1,000 if we stayed the course with ERE. ..... you can see where this is going right? 2 weeks later no progress, and both Romo and Loraine promising quick resolution and a $1,000 rebate. ......after several more discussions and false starts. ..... FINALLY on October 17 the new panel goes in.
> Over the next several weeks I reach out repeatedly to find out when ERE is going to refund my $1,000. It is now mid-December and I have finally conceded that Romo and Loraine just repeatedly lied to me and that this is just the way they do business.

> I am fortunate enough to be able to afford my own home in San Diego. I do a lot of improvement on my own, but I leave the electrical to the pros. ER electric are THE pros when it comes to rewiring your home. The electricians are on-time, polite and hard working. They take the time to protect and cover your home before they start working. The do not make assumptions. They ask questions, and reach out to you directly if they require input on particular components of your install. They make recommendations, give you detail explanations and provide excellent customer service. They will go the extra mile to dig trenches, work in tight crawl spaces/attics and help mount fixtures for any room. I really appreciate all the work they have done electrically rehabilitating my 1942 home. You will, too.

> I live in a 1920's bungalow in North Park so things often break. We had electrical issues that needed to be addressed in a timely manner. I put in a project request via Houzz and Romo called me almost immediately. He was incredibly helpful and assured me that he could come out the same day to resolve the issue. Within a few hours he was at my house and in a short amount of time everything was fixed! Romo was very polite and helpful. I would absolutely recommend ER Electric and plan to use Romo in the future as well.
