**★★★★★ — C P, May 2024**

> Quality of carpentry and painting work was good. Fazil and his team were great and kept me up to date on the project as it progressed.

**★ — C.P., May 2024**

> Bad communication the entire project. I initially had some siding repaired which turned into a second larger repair job. Some of the repairs were done on a section of the roof/chimney that could not be seen from the ground, so I requested multiple times that photos be taken of the work. These pictures were never taken. After the painting had completed I also noticed that some caulking work that I had discussed with two different people may not have been covered (as well as garbage and equipment being left in my yard). I called the office and asked that the final invoice date be pushed forward (it was due the same day) until I could discuss these issues with someone and never received a call back or response. I decided to pay the invoice anyways to avoid any potential late penalties. A week later I called the office again to see if there was any response to my previous concerns and was once again told they would get back to me. At this point I asked them to just get the garbage and ladders out of my backyard so I could be done with this. I was called back by someone else and told that they would pick up their things that same day (they did not) and take photos of the roof by the end of the week (they never showed up).
>
> It’s been two weeks since the project was “finished” and two months since I was given my initial estimate. I doubt I will hear back from anyone at this point and I’m done calling the office. I will likely hire a second service to take a look at the work on the chimney and finish the caulking I mentioned earlier. Get your things off of my property.

**★ — Brian Gilley, Sept. 2019**

> The Penntek garage coating top coat (PT-300) was not put down consistently at all. We were left with the correct, smoother, orange-peel like consistency in very small areas near expansion joints and a few other random spots. But the bulk of the flooring is very rough, where you can feel the edges of the flake put down because there is not enough or consistent PT-300 polyurea top coat over the flake and entire floor. The owner of Anderson Painting, Nathan, came out after rescheduling on me twice and then he was hour late for the second rescheduled time. He made me feel like my time obviously wasn't that important as compared to his own time. Just to note, part of this company's guarantee and service expectations are:
>
> \- Conducting all business in an honest, friendly, and courteous manner
> \- Valuing all customer concerns and requests
> \- Delivering professional grade services, focused on precision, detail, and thoroughness
>
> They did not live up to many of these items above...
>
> Nathan arrived Friday before noon. He let me speak concerning the flooring and I described the issues. He felt a large part of the floor while I spoke and thereafter. He then goes on to say he feels the flooring was done correctly and there wasn't that much of a problem -- that they put material down correctly. The problem is that we, the customer, were sold on the samples brought to our home for the Penntek flooring. I asked him if he brought the samples because the estimator did not provide them, even when I asked for them when the estimator came by to see the shoddy results a few weeks before. So, Nathan went back to his van for the floor samples I requested. After he laid them down and felt many areas of the floor to compare only then did I hear comments from him like "well, the sample is a bit smoother," and "there definitely is a difference" and "you're going to feel inconsistencies with the samples and flooring actually put down." Again, we were sold ON the samples, not some other finish. No other finish or result was ever mentioned or noted anywhere prior to the job! So, if they sold paint in flat, satin, eggshell, or semi gloss to customers, wouldn't the customer expect the type of sheen/textures of the paint they agreed upon or as advertised or brought by the company? Why should the garage flooring any different? It shouldn't be.
>
> This final flooring result tears to pieces any paper or shop towels when wiping any spills on the Penntek flooring. It is very hard to brush sweep or clean in general because of the harsher roughness to the flooring we were left with. It is also very rough on the feet to walk on, with a fear of cuts from jagged edges and edges of exposed flake. You can stand back and see that the sheen/texture changes throughout large sections of the flooring as compared to edges or expansion joints. This is because the top coat is thicker near expansion joints and then gets really thin most other places. Just very inconsistent.
>
> We were also overcharged for the flooring. At $7/sq ft this flooring can get expensive. We have 373 sq ft of flooring and that's giving them a few extra feet. I measured 4 times and threw in some footage! We were charged for 420 sq ft. I asked Nathan while he was here how they charged for this flooring without going into what the estimator previously told me over the phone about how Anderson Painting charges for overages and wasted materials. Nathan said they ONLY charge for the square footage put down, nothing more. I then told him they charged me for 420 square feet when we have 373 square feet. Then, he begins to back track yet again (first on the flooring texture vs the samples brought now the costs and overages) and says they "round up" and charge for extra. WT? He just stood there seconds before and said they only charge for the square footage put down. And, even giving the benefit of the doubt, if they did charge for overages, then we should have been at a max 400 square feet, not 420. Their measurements were off from the beginning and how they charge for this flooring isn't a story they obviously had straight between them before speaking to me. They overcharged us, simple as that. The owner initially agreed to that fact when he says they simply charge for what they put down.
>
> We are taking the flooring issues up with Penntek. They are reviewing photos and videos of the flooring we sent to them with their technical team.
>
> We are highly disappointed in Anderson painting's results. They also painted a few walls inside. They missed painting near base boards, didn't spackle a very few, small picture holes correctly, and painted the walls with eggshell when we have flat on connecting or adjacent walls. Even though I agreed to eggshell we were told via email that it would "blend nicely" and in person we were told the same thing and that it wouldn't be noticeable. Wrong!
>
> We can't feel confident recommending this company to anyone due to the lack of detail, consistency, being mislead and charged for more than what they actually did.

**★★★★★ — Shannon Byers, Nov. 2016**

> We had a great experience with Anderson Painting. From selecting paint colors to finishing touches everything was done professionally and quickly.

**Comment from Anderson Painting:**

> Shannon,

**★★★★★ — Andrea Fox, Nov. 2016**

> We hired Anderson Painting to paint a large majority of our house. The company was recommended to us by our interior designer. They were very professional and the finished product was terrific. We have used this company for other small projects as well. We will continue to call on Anderson Painting for any and all painting needs. We have and will continue to pass this company along to friends and neighbors as simply the best painting company around.

**Comment from Anderson Painting:**

> Andrea,
>
> Thanks so much for your kind review! We appreciate you and your continued business! All our best to you and your family!

**★★★★★ — Alan Wilser, Nov. 2016**

> Not only did Anderson Painting identify and fix some wood rot issues, they also helped me pick a color that looked beautiful on my house. A++

**★★★★★ — Rob Welton, Nov. 2016**

> I found Anderson painting to be a quality organization, very flexible in work scope, and professional in how they prepared and completed complex projects. I would highly recommend them for any job.

**★★★★★ — lisaburns284, Nov. 2016**

> I have known Nate Anderson for almost 10 years, and he has done work for me throughout that period (most recently in January-February 2016). Jobs have included painting (interior and exterior), power washing, floor installation, and remodeling. The work has always been completed on time and to my complete satisfaction.
>
> You will not find a more honest, trustworthy businessman. Nate is a good guy who runs a good business. His employees are true employees, not day laborers. I am comfortable leaving Nate's crew to work when I am not home, and I don't do that with any other contractor.
