The room was not too big (about 300 sqft) and the floor wasn't even - 30% of the room was half-a-step higher than the rest of the room as the previous owner raised some floors for some cabinets, and we decided to keep it that way to reduce the cost. > Our requirements were also ambiguous at the beginning as we weren't sure about the purposes of the room. We didn't have a high expectation at all for that room when we reached Yun-chi, as the uneven floor seemed to be a bad setting that was impossible to fix. Not only did Yun-chi quickly identify that we could make the room two separate spaces (which we've never thought about!), she also helped us think through our requirements and identified the best way to use the room. > Before working on the details, Yun-chi always provided us with a quick overview of her thoughts and rationales, which had saved us lots of money and time.
