She removed the doors and put them in our garage on her scaffolding to work on them out there. She cleaned them well, before painting. She painted them a brown color and put a gorgeous black glaze over it. (We did the rest; new appliances, countertop and backsplash.) A: It was a custom mix. Sorry I don't have a name for you. **Q: My Living Room** *(in Design Dilemma)* HELP........What do I do with this wall or space on top of the bookcase? Do I put a tapestry or painting up on top of bookcase OR do a striped wallpaper or paint with 2 variations of color going vertical on the back wall? A: Years ago I painted a large compass rose on a wall of similar size. The design and fleur-de-lis in the center coordinated with other décor pieces in the room. Maybe you could find something similar that would fit your personal style. The added bonus: you don't have to worry about dust collecting in such a hard to reach place.
