> Elise Moore is a highly professional designer who impresses me with her attention to design details. From lighting to flooring, she goes above and beyond to make sure everything will work out--not just as a first impression, but for the long-term enjoyment of customers. In addition, she has greatly impressed us with her board knowledge of the technical aspects of interior design. It has been our great pleasure to work with her and we highly recommend her service.

> I found Elise by accident and have since recommended her to many other people. She has been a pleasure to work with and very receptive all of my needs and concerns. Elise helped me with my Chevy Chase condo and it has been completely transformed. The style is elegant and cozy.

> I had my kitchen redone as well as my powder room and my foyer/hallway floors changed to hardwood. Elise was well informed, offering creativity and insight. She was available and timely. She created a wonderful computer image for me so I could better visualize what the end result would look like. Her expertise and professionalism were outstanding.

> I hired Elise Moore to help me with my my North Carolina vacation home(2006) as well as my residence in Dallas. She has pulled together a color scheme, floor plan, lightening design as well as re-purposing existing furniture and purchasing additional pieces. She is an excellent interior architect and very easy to work with. She listens well to what your goals are and is good at considering you sense of style and color. She is also able to work well from a distance. She works well with new construction as well as renovation.

> Elise, of Elise Moore Design, opened up and continues to open up a whole new world of color and design for me. Her suggestions have enhanced my home in ways I would have never imagined.
> Elise is professional, candid and thorough. I am amazed at how much she knows about color, furniture, furniture placement, electrical outlets, lighting, fixtures....I could go on and on. She saved me many times from making the wrong decision that I may have regretted in the future. That has saved me money and minimized stress.
> Elise is always available to answer any questions or concerns that I have. At times I take longer than usual to make decisions, but Elise is patient and always willing to come up with more options to help me decide. I never worry about locating anything I need for my home, because Elise is rich with resources. Elise has great customer engagement skills, which is also a plus.
> If you are looking for someone to help you design the type of home you want; that makes you happy and comfortable, and everyone green with envy, then you need to contact Elise.

> I hired Elise Moore Design for design advice in my home. I was extremely pleased with the advice I received on painting recommendations for all rooms in my house, as well as advice on the purchase of furniture. Elise really listened to my concerns, and her recommendations were exactly what I wanted. I consulted with her on an ongoing basis over a number of months. I also plan to use her to design my new kitchen. I highly recommend Elise Moore Design!

> Elise Moore Design - Was a joy to work with - Her attention to detail and listening to her clients needs were amazing - She brought her own expertise and ideas which complimented mine without taking over - Her realistic timeframe was great so that the project (2 bathrooms and kitchen) was on time and in budget - I would highly recommend Elise for work on any project large and small -

**★★★★★ — Carla Foster, Oct. 2012**

> Elise designed 2 bathroom re-do's for me. The first was over 7 years ago, a large guest bath that was a teardown due to mold. It turned out beautifully. I get compliments on it all the time. Not only is it beautiful, she stayed within my budget constraints and worked with other reliable, high quality suppliers and contractors. And she's a great resource if you want to use "green" materials.
> The second bathroom was almost 3 years ago. It was a beautiful design, she found great resources for sourcing the materials and provided guidance to the contractor I had selected. Another beautiful bathroom. I would definitely use her again for any household design projects.

**★★★★★ — Kristen O, Oct. 2012**

> We hired Elise to put the finishing touches on our third remodeling project in ten years. It was our largest project to date, in size and expense, and we had too much invested in it, financially and emotionally, to wing the decor as we had done in previous remodeling and decorating projects. Elise helped us incorporate our existing furnishings with new pieces she thoughtfully procured for us, and artfully brought our cluttered vision into elegant focus. In short, Elise's expert direction turned a house into our home, and we couldn't be happier with the final result.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Hi-Could you please share the color of the red/burgandy trim? Thanks!** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: It's Pratt Lambert Spectrum Brown if I remember correctly

**Q: Can you tell me about the roof? Manufacturer and color? Thank you!** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Sorry Charlotte. That was not part of my scope so I have no idea.

**Q: Age** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is the age of this house?

A: Circa 1910

**Q: Paint color?** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is the name of the green/blue paint color? Thanks.

A: We did not add anything to the paint. However, the color on your monitor and also even in the photographs is not exactly the same as the paint in reality. I always suggest painting a piece of plywood as a test when you are trying out colors for exterior painting.

**Q: What is the size of the sink and length and width of countertop?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Like this design!

A: Thank you. The sink is a Kohler Ladena - the counter was 24 inches deep at one end and tapered back to 9" at the other end forming a shelf without a cabinet underneath that end. It allowed the space for the toilet to be more generous. I can't remember exactly how long it was but I think around 7 feet. It was one of those old 50's pink bathrooms.

**Q: Color?** *(in Photo Questions)*

What color was used on the china cabinet?

A: It was quite a while ago, but I think it was HC26Monroe Bisque. In reality it leans a little green. You need to check the Ben Moore HC colors though. They have a number of soft golden tans which will look different depending on how much natural light, whether it is North South East or West light, what your general and ambient light conditions are and so on and so forth.

Colors can vary tremendously depending on conditions. If you look at the LRV number on the back of the paint chip, this is the percentage of light that the paint reflects. Dark colors absorb, light colors reflect. Ah.... So much science to interior design!
