She really listened to what we liked, the way we lived and was able to incorporate everything into a cohesive design plan. She understood that we were going to be spending a lot of time and money on this project, and did not want to have to remodel in the near future, and kept us off the trendy design path and into a more timeless classic feel. We had plans but put the project off for a year, and Karen was fine with that. Once we were ready to go, Karen was wonderful in adapting changes that we wanted. She was there to assist with everything from providing us with contractors to selecting paint and floor colors. She was easily accessible when we sent her photos of items we wanted to purchase and explained how they would or would not fit into the project. She was also a calming force when I wasn't quite sure I liked something, with the constant reminder "You need to see the whole picture, it will be fine." And she was right. I love everything and have not once said "I wish we had (or had not) done this or that." Next year we will be remodeling our upstairs and Karen is my only choice from now forward.
