I had a an angle stop explode in my upstairs bathroom and it took out my whole bathroom ceiling & crown molding in the downstairs bathroom. I hired a RECOMMENDED contractor and thats when the trouble started. When the contractor finished, I noticed that there were 4 miss cuts in the crown that were separating more by the day. I called Mr Larkin (which I should have done to begin with) to give me a bid on fixing the mess that the other contractor did to the crown. When Mr. Larkin came to give me the bid , he noticed the miss cuts as well as the crown was installed UP SIDE DOWN. A: Yes, I remember. It is the 6 1/2" Georgian Crown Pattern\# 427MUL. The cove is also up instead of down. When you look it up you will know what I mean. This also comes in an 8" size, pattern 428MUL. Don't let anyone tell you that you have to put corner pieces to get the vault to work. They will ruin it. A: The crown going up ad high as 20 feet was the 6 1/2" Georgian crown \#427MUL.. the small crown on the ledge is the 2 1/2" Georgian. when a vaulted room is connected to high and low ceilings in thr same room, the crown looks fine being over 6" wide, even at the lower level. **Q: Empty Wall Help** *(in Design Dilemma)* I have a blank wall that is between the door from our garage on the right (this is our main exit/entrance) and the other door is to our laundry room. I thought it would be a good idea to put a mirror on the wall. May be nice to get a full view to make sure we are in order before leaving the house. LOL My teenage daughter uses the reflection in the refrigerator. But I'm not sure so I thought I would ask you guys. A: a six foot wainscot would warm up the area, if it continued around all sides. It would also formalize it and bring a great first impression, since it is a main entrance. It could be bead board, or a craftsman style wainscot, w/ 3" rails over veneer. The larger mirror is still a good idea however, for expanding the feel of the area, if it seems too small. **Q: what type of lighting did you use?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: This particular crown was the Carolina Pattern from El n El called 424MUL. It is 6 1/2" wide.
