**Q: How do you fasten the hog wire to the frame?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: There are CAREFULLY measured holes drilled into wood strips that's correspond to the cut ends of the wire mesh. Those simply capture the ends on all four sides of the panel and are attached to the posts and to and bottom rails.

A: This is a custom built vertical grain fir door designed and built by myself.

was the gate custom built? Id like to know the wood type or location where it was purchased if it is off the shelf. Looks great!

A: Thank you. This was a custom made gate designed and built by myself. The wood is clear western red cedar. One of a kind.

**Q: Goat Panel: Is rust an Issue?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Have you had any problems with the galvanized steel wire mesh rusting? And was it galvanized before or after it was welded together? We are considering this material to update over 200 feet of deck railing on our house. Would prefer raw look of galvanized steel but considering stainless steel is well. Thanks!

A: I have not had any problems with rust. It is a very stout galvanizing from the factory.

**Q: where can i buy these brackets** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: These were custom made by the violin maker who's home it was.

**Q: How was the wire attached to the frames?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: There is a corresponding hole drilled in the surrounding 2x2 loose frames into which the wire fits. The wire is 1/4" thick, so drill the holes 5/16". The wire grid is 4" o.c. so that is the spacing. As the wire is welded in such a way that the horizontal wires are on top of the vertical wires, that places the centerline of horizontal and vertical 1/8" offset each way to the centerline of the frame. Pay attention to that detail or there will be a struggle. Measure carefully, and have fun.
