Sarah and I immediately "clicked"! She came into our half built home and started discussing colors and cohesiveness. Sarah was great at listening and offering her opinion, yet being open to my opinion in paint, wall paper, window treatment design and pattern, rug colors (and pricing). Sara's eye for beauty and "fit" is truly helpful! She helped me NOT make a huge mistake with counter chairs from a local vendor and, instead, gave her opinion about chairs I found in a catalogue. She often suggested things (such as a wallpaper for our den) that I would not have considered and was great at putting her ideas into gorgeously worded narratives (she can "paint" a picture with her beautiful descriptions!). Her artistic sensibilities are helpful when trying to meld old furniture with new and blending inherited rugs with colors and other pieces.. Sarah is not only a wonderful interior designer, but is also a very kind and compassionate person. Sarah was able to take stock of our personal preferences and formulate a vision that elevated the heirloom pieces we already had and expanded what we thought was possible style-wise with fabulous new pieces and finishing touches. One notable example of Sarah's flexibility and adaptability involved a pastoral wallpaper that we wanted for our dining room.
