Now there's a narrowed-down format that is just awful. A: Just saw the format change this week, here in Texas. I like to stay open to change in case it IS better than I expected. I see for Contractors who are using Houzz for business leads, they are in the forefront now. I'm not thrilled about the new format and hope it will return to a more user-friendly-for-photos-format soon. I am ready to change the wall color in the living room which opens to the dining room which opens to the kitchen. My dilemma is which shade of gray. In the living room there are windows that face west and north. My dining room and kitchen only have windows on the north side. I need a color of gray that will work with all three rooms. Any suggestions? A: Gray is an excellent choice for a real transformation. I actually have an Ideabook titled "Gray". I re-tiled the fireplace and the Charcoal Gray wall was the inspiration for that project. I plan to get a nice Dove Gray on the other walls when some free time comes around. This is a renovation that my husband and I took on. We took an old bungalow 2 bedroom 1 bathroom house in major need of repair and added on 2 additions and took down many walls.
