**★★★★★ — g wil, July 2016**

> We retained KQA following a search for the most appropriate architect for our renovation and addition project. From the very first meeting, Kevin contributed great vision, ideas and enthusiasm for the project. As the project progressed he remained sensitive to our budget as he guided and collaborated with us through to the final design and construction phase.

> Project: 1941 house - Kitchen and Family Room addition with renovation of existing spaces to incorporate Laundry, Shower and Mud Rooms

**★★★★★ — dghara, July 2015**

> We hired Kevin to design an addition for our 200 +/- year old antique farmhouse. Our existing kitchen was too small and we needed more functional space but also wanted to enjoy views of our property. Among the most beautiful features of the original house is a sunroom and directly above, a sleeping porch. The addition would have to minimally impact these two beautiful spaces. We also insisted that the original house, with the exception of the old kitchen, not be altered. If that wasn't enough, the house was built into a gentle slope and the addition would have to encompass 3 levels. This was definitely a challenge and Kevin conceived an amazing design!
> Yesterday, the design left the drawing board and the framing is now complete. Although we only have the "bones" of the new structure, this is the foundation of the design and we could not be more pleased! The proportions Kevin came up with are perfect and not only is there minimal impact to the porch and sunroom, but the new structure flows harmoniously with the existing house and property. Kevin found the right balance between proportion and functionality without overwhelming the original house. This is our first experience hiring an architect and designing an addition. We have learned that the entire design process is full of trade-offs and the goal is to find the best gentle balance between our needs and wants and space available that works proportionately with the site and house. Kevin was always gracious and offered guidance when needed. He listens carefully and tries very hard to balance functionality with a beautiful design. He is a true professional and did his best to accommodate what we were trying to accomplish. And when necessary, he will offer his opinion if he believes we need to reevaluate what we want him to design. Now that we are in the midst of the construction phase, he is always accessible either by phone or email and responds very quickly when we need his advice and made trips to the site when necessary. We required a variance and Kevin successfully prepared and presented our case before the Zoning Board of Appeals. I decided to apply for the building permit myself but in hindsight, Kevin would have been best to maneuver through town hall. I had to call him twice because he knew all the intricacies of the project and was the best person to explain them to the building department. It would have been easier for me to have Kevin handle the building permit. I look forward to posting photos once my project is complete and hope my review is helpful.

**★★★★★ — True North Cabinets, Oct. 2014**

> We have worked on several projects with Kevin. He has always been accessible and very easy to work with. In both cases the clients were very happy with the amazing results he provided.

**★★★★★ — mbarbie230, March 2014**

> We hired Kevin Quinlan to draw up plans for our complete kitchen and dining room renovation. Kevin is a consummate professional who is extremely detail oriented and was always available to answer any questions we had during the project. We were presented with several options for design and Kevin was very easy to work with concerning changes we requested as the project unfolded. Kevin was able to work within our budget parameters and we could not be any happier with the way the kitchen and dining room turned out. We would wholeheartedly recommend Kevin Quinlan and his services.

**★★★★★ — Matt Giardina, Feb. 2014**

> I have worked with many architects over the years and Kevin Quinlan is one of the sharpest I have met. His manner is very conductive to a collaborative process in which the entire construction team work together to the benefit of the homeowner. Also his design abilities are unquestioned. I guarantee you will enjoy working with Kevin.
