I can't believe the transformation! It seriously feels like a brand new house. Throughout the process, Valerie has been an absolute pleasure to work with, and all of the contractors she recommended (for flooring, tile, counters, and more) were courteous, competent, and considerate of our budget. I would highly recommend Glenoaks Interiors! **★★★★★ — Carolyn Fariss, Sept. 2017** > Valerie McDermott has helped me decorate my entire house! She helped me pick colors for walls that work well with my theme colors of red, white and blue. She has taken me shopping for fabric and design for draperies, which turned out beautifully. She drew up a master bathroom floor plan where nothing existed before and it works very well. Her expert advise shows in every room in my home. She has the resources of people at her fingertips that get the job done quickly and beautifully. I love my home and thank Valerie for the endless hours of design technology she provided. **Comment from Glenoaks Interiors:** > So easy to do beautiful design with a client as appreciative as you are! Thank you!! **Comment from Glenoaks Interiors:** > Thanks so much Jamie, you're so easy to work with, can't wait for our next project!!! **★★★★★ — cgoosman, Sept. 2016** > For years, I have worked with Valerie, owner of Glenoaks Interiors. She has always been very professional, creative, knowledgable and friendly. In the past, she helped me with relatively small design jobs in my various homes. This year, I decided to put my rental townhouse up for sale. It had not been significantly updated in nearly 20 years. Although the "bones" of the place were good, practically every surface needed to be replaced, including every square foot of flooring. It also needed new paint throughout, new countertops in the kitchen and baths, custom tile work, window treatments, lighting and more. In other words, a complete redo. Valerie was more than up for the job. She understood my design style and took it to the next level, making intelligent, creative and cohesive design choices. She preselected samples for my review, which kept me from being overwhelmed! The selections were perfect. With enthusiasm, patience and amazing organization, she saw the project through from concept through completion The result? A really welcoming and stylish townhouse that was created on time and on budget. I couldn't be happier. I love working with Valerie and would not dream of working with anyone else. **Comment from Glenoaks Interiors:** > Thank you Chris, I absolutely love working with you! You are a joy to work with, so appreciative of the work involved and the finished projects! I seriously look forward to our next adventure! **★★★★★ — christine stewart, Aug. 2016** > Valerie has helped us on several different remodeling projects.. She really listens to what you want and gives excellent suggestions. Her ideas for our kitchen remodel gave us a kitchen that looks great and is much more efficient. She helped us select all the colors when we painted our house. We will be using Valerie on our future remodeling projects as well. **★★★★★ — Susanne Hollis Inc., Dec. 2015** > We have had the pleasure of working Glenoaks Interiors on several occasions and have always found them to be professional and wonderful to collaborate with. **★★★★★ — Sheri Molder Designs, Dec. 2015** > I have know and worked with Valerie for over 20 years and collaborated with her on many interior design projects. She is professional innovative and creative. She is very personable hence many of her clients often end up being good friends long after their project is finished. **★★★★★ — Phillip Montano, Dec. 2015** > Valerie has helped me design several of my homes all unique and every one has turned out amazing. From my permanent residence to vacation home **Comment from Glenoaks Interiors:** > Thank you Phil, you continue to be an awesome client! You let me run with the design and are always so appreciative! The current project is going to be incredible, I look forward to it's completion, and moving on to the next design adventure! **★★★★★ — 143dylan00, Sept. 2015** > Valerie's experience and knowledge helped us pick out the perfect color scheme for our family room window treatments and she helped with paint questions and color for our master bedroom and bathroom. She was very helpful with all my requests and efficient. I am very happy with the results! **Comment from Glenoaks Interiors:** > Thanks Tami, I enjoy working with you on your projects! ## Selected projects - [Tujunga, California Townhome](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/tujunga-california-townhome-pj-vj~2415800) - Location: Los Angeles, CA - Photos: 20 - [Calico Lake House](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/calico-lake-house-pj-vj~2383664) - Location: Barstow, CA - Photos: 8 - [Santa Clarita Home](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/santa-clarita-home-pj-vj~1450613) - Location: Santa Clarita, CA - Photos: 4 - [Bennet House, Pasadena](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/bennet-house-pasadena-pj-vj~1388250) - Location: Pasadena, CA - Photos: 3 - [Fair Oaks Ranch, Ca Home](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/fair-oaks-ranch-ca-home-pj-vj~1450692) - Location: Santa Clarita, CA - Photos: 3 - [LaCanada Kitchen](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/lacanada-kitchen-pj-vj~1933355) - Location: La Cañada Flintridge, CA - Photos: 1 - Description: Full Kitchen Remodel - [LaCrescenta Kitchen Remodel](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/lacrescenta-kitchen-remodel-pj-vj~1290392) - Location: La Crescenta-Montrose, CA - Photos: 2 - [LaCrescenta Family Room Remodel](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/lacrescenta-family-room-remodel-pj-vj~159849) - Location: La Crescenta-Montrose, CA - Photos: 1 - [Montebello Fireplace Remodel](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/montebello-fireplace-remodel-pj-vj~2416014) - Location: Montebello, CA - Photos: 2 - [Carlsbad Residence](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/carlsbad-residence-pj-vj~1290380) - Location: Carlsbad, CA - Photos: 1 - [Glendale Residence](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/glendale-residence-pj-vj~1290371) - Location: Glendale, CA - Photos: 4 - [Lake Oswego, Oregon Lakefront Home](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/lake-oswego-oregon-lakefront-home-pj-vj~2065330) - Location: Lake Oswego, OR - Photos: 20 - [LaCrescenta Whole Home Remodel Including Exterior](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/lacrescenta-whole-home-remodel-including-exterior-pj-vj~1290415) - Location: La Crescenta-Montrose, CA - Photos: 8 - [Shadow Hills Master Bath](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/shadow-hills-master-bath-pj-vj~139527) - Location: Los Angeles, CA - Photos: 4 - [Santa Clarita Fireplace](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/santa-clarita-fireplace-pj-vj~2415831) - Location: Santa Clarita, CA - Photos: 2 - [Spanish Mediterranean Home in Glendale, CA](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/spanish-mediterranean-home-in-glendale-ca-pj-vj~2384502) - Location: Glendale, CA - Photos: 5 - [Banning](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/banning-pj-vj~7624966) - Location: Banning, California - Photos: 1 - [La Verne Residential Remodel](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/la-verne-residential-remodel-pj-vj~2862529) - Location: La Verne, CA - Photos: 4 - Description: Beautiful new Bathroom Vanity, Glass Mosaic back wall, counter to ceiling, new granite custom curved to fit custom cabinet with curved doors and front, new mirror, sconces and lighting, oil rubbed bronze fixtures. - [Oxnard, CA Master Bath](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/oxnard-ca-master-bath-pj-vj~2862520) - Location: Oxnard, CA - Photos: 5 - Description: All new, beautiful, light airy, beachy Master Bath! - [Glendale Master Bath](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/glendale-master-bath-pj-vj~2700286) - Location: Glendale, CA - Photos: 6 - Description: Complete Master Bath Remodel.
