Being new to South Carolina, not knowing the area and needing help buying furniture, Robin jumped right in and I'm so excited with the results. The space looks amazing. > When she first came over to look at the house, I didn't know what to expect, but Robin is so warm and friendly, it was like talking with a friend. She asked questions to narrow down what I wanted to do, what colors and style I liked, how much I wanted to spend and the time line. She also made great suggestions. Then she went to work and in a short amount of time, my house was fully functional. She's professional, has great working knowledge of the area, got my project done on time and well within the budget. > Without a doubt, I will use her again for my next project. **★★★★★ — kevin & rhoads, July 2018** > Building a house from 2 states and 500 miles away is not an easy thing to do but when you have someone like Robin Johnson from Urban Interiors it is almost seamless. We had an initial design consultation with her explaining our tastes and style and what we were looking for. She totally got it. We were going for a SC coastal farmhouse style. She did all of the research and leg work down in SC while we were living in Northern VA. Then through conference calls, emails, and texts she would make selections of various samples of plumbing, lighting, paint, appliances, hardware, etc. and send them to us. Not only did it give us a variety of items to choose from but it minimized the number of trips we had to make up and down I-95 (which was a 7 and 1/2 hour trip). Then we would periodically come down to see our selections in person and were able to visualize our beautiful new home come to life. We had a budget and a timeline and she kept those in mind and kept everything on track. We had no idea how many 100's of decisions had to be made in building a custom home and we have no idea how anyone could do it, especially being so far away, without someone like Robin to guide them. Then when it came time to build she was even able to suggest some builders to interview as she works with several builders in the area. We interviewed 5 and ended up going with 1 that she had suggested. We simply handed him a folder with all of our selections in it, including where to get them from and he went by that. We could not have been happier with him. And then throughout the building project she work closely with our builder and his site superintendent as unexpected things always come up in the building process. And even after our house was complete and we had moved in, she helped us with rug selections, an upholstery job and a few other design things within our home. A: Hi, I spoke to the client who has lived with this kitchen for 4-5 years now. They have had no issues with grease splatters or stains. You might consider sealing the brick and grout if you’re worried.
