A: Amazing transformation... **Q: No more pink kitchen!** *(in Before & After)* The old kitchen was an ugly pink with little storage. Now we have a bright white kitchen with tons of storage. The cabinets are American Woodwork shaker style. Counter top is "super white" granite. We closed off the utility area with a pocket door. Double windows were removed and a slider window was added which gives the illusion of a larger window, but it is the same size opening. Added a big farm sink. Removing the soffit allowed for taller cabinets. Wall behind stove was moved back 18 inches which was done by making the half bath behind it a little smaller, which did not hurt at all. A: Wow... Excellent job. **Q: Our newly Remodeled House** *(in Before & After)* Built in 1925, the house needed major updates since the last time it was renovated in the 60's or 70's. We bought this house and re-configured the layout to convert the Dining/Kitchen into one big Kitchen and move the dining room in the back of the house which used to be a bedroom. We added a french door to the Dining room, to have easy access to the backyard since there was only side entrance to go to the backyard.. Deck is yet to be built, however, which is in our Phase 2 of the remodel. Completely gutted the only bathroom in the house to give it a modern yet periodic look. We also added some new updated colors to the house to make it more bright and cozy! A: Sure you won't miss all of that kitchen and bathroom carpet? Ha, great job! **Q: Not all kitchen makeovers require a full scale renovation!** *(in Before & After)* In this kitchen makeover, we were asked to give the homeowner the biggest bang for the smallest buck, as there were other projects also being done in this newly purchased home, so we needed to give the kitchen a kick of style, but did not have the budget for a full scale renovation. We painted the existing oak cabinets in Benjamin Moore's November Rain, changed the cabinet hardware, removed the laminate counters and splurged on Ceasarstone Quartz (which also meant a new sink and faucet) then we finished with a shot of strong colour on the walls, some new lighting, and a DIY stainless steel backsplash from a big box store! A: Nicely done... **Q: Bath Makeover--I Found the Right Glass Tile!** *(in Before & After)* In my ranch-style I wanted a different note in my bath makeover. Took part of a closet and made my 5.5 X 6 ft. bath into a 5.5 X 12. For under $6,000, completely gutted, took out tub, added large shower, the glass sink and iridescent tile I wanted, and a little bit of glitz with the lighting. The sink has the Mosaic LED light strip behind it; colors can be changed, or can rotate. Much cheaper than some of the lighted sinks I saw online. Love my Pegasus faucet and towel bars, love my Delta shower head and my Accord shower with the moveable seat, and REALLY love my Pegasus glass sink. All new cabinets gave much more space, and an old but very nice full length mirror became the door for a large medicine cabinet. Finished it off with a wall "fireplace" that finally gives me the heater I wanted for years, not to mention ambiance. Thanks to all the good ideas on Houzz and all the info. This was a fun project and I am truly enjoying it! A: Looks great.. What a transformation! **Q: Kitchen/Living Room Remodel** *(in Before & After)* Dark and Dreary remodeled to Bright and Cheery!!!
