> Buyer Beware! I wish I would have done more reasearch on Jamie Morales before we hired him for our deck renovation. It all started very good. Very responsive and collaborative in the design phase. The budget conversation was smooth with budgets per phase of the project which tied back to our original budget for this project The first half of the project went pretty well until conversation began about needing additional funding for materials. This was a constant conversation that never ended. We ended up 40% over budget on materials because he misbudgetted. This is after we cancelled the flagstone, bar around the hot tub and some other finishes on the deck. Additionally, he was asking for advances on the payment so he could pay his crew and one of his crew members walked off the job. This project has being going on for several months now and although we do get responses via text, our project is still not done. Our problem, we gave the majority of the last payment due before the deck was completely done. Now, he has taken on other jobs and intermently will stop by and do a little work. Things unfinished: deck boards, lighting, and stairs. I will be finishing this deck myself which is a shame after paying $25k and learning valuable lessons. Do your reaearch, I wish I had. I wouldn't have hired Jamie Morales.

> Started our project in February with a bath and Kitchen remodel.  Started with one Sub contractor (Tim)  who then disappeared in March.  Project taken over by Owner Jamie Morales, who said he would oversee our project personally.   Started ok, but he kept asking for more money into April, when the work slowed down.  Had trouble getting subs to work for him.  The subs that did eventually show up had never met him, were hired over the phone from out of state.  Then the work slowed and stopped.  Jamie finally called to say there was a "family" crisis.  But he insisted we rush out and buy appliances and cabinets, then everything sat for months in our garage.  He never checked up on purchases so some cabinets were wrong but too late to return.  Tiling in bathroom not done and tiler didn't return after April.  Work stopped after mid May.  Insisted I tell him which countertop to order (which we did)  but then countertops were never ordered.  Then Jamie Morales didn't return any phone calls in May, June July or August 2015.  I called on an unknown number and he picked right up.  Then quickly begged off how he couldn't talk right then but would call back later.   Didn't call back later.  He hired a woman to contact his unhappy clients and she came to talk to us.  I told about our problems.  Do not recommend this company or Jamie Morales.
