A: Sorry, it is not bamboo being used on the island. It is however bamboo on he floor. he island is reclaimed 2X6 rafters from the roof we dismantled. I believe they are spruce/pine. They were milled probably about 100 years ago from virgin trees so the wood was very dense. **Q: So beautifuL!
