They proposed a new front door that complimented the house and neighbourhood and what a difference this has made to my home! Excellent detail and quality - top notch! Pics show the before and the after! **★★★★★ — HU-427112885, Nov. 2020** > Mike was recommended to us by another contractor. Our house underwent extensive renovations and required a new external door. We had a specific door in mind and Mike was able to deliver on it. I am not an easy person to please as I expect a high degree of professionalism, honesty and quality. Mike exceeded my expectations from the beginning to the end on all aspects. There are a number of steps to follow in crafting a new door and install it. Mike explained the process and remained available anytime to answer my questions and provide his professional advice. Not only he delivered on a quality product but it is important to mention that his price was very competitive. > > We are so pleased with the end product. > Thank you Mike and team for a great job, we will not hesitate to recommend you to our neighbours and friends. > > Debbie and Dany **★★★★★ — nhill55, Nov. 2017** > Mike Bays and his partners are true craftsmen who care about doing a great job. They executed a whole wall of cherry kitchen cabinets and a new mahogany front door for us and they did a spectacular job on both. You won't go wrong using Graemar. **★★★★★ — macspe108, Nov. 2017** > We could not be happier with our Graemar built door. As owners of a 1920s home, we required a custom built heritage style door with side lights to suit. Mike's craftsmanship gave us the details, quality, and door functionality we wanted. > > Graemar was professional, courteous, and timely. We would highly recommend them. **★★★★★ — lisadkjohnson, May 2017** > We had an original exterior front door to our home replicated and improved upon by Graemar Carpenters. They were very professional, timely and skilled craftsmen. We were extremely pleased with the workmanship and attention to detail. Would recommend them highly! **★★★★★ — Jamie McMillan, April 2017** > Designed and built a mahogany door and side windows to replace a 90 year old door. Challenge was to replace the door with a high efficiency unit while maintaining the look of the older home. A very beautiful door, classic in style that has received many complements from visitors. > Excellent craftsmanship, courteous service , all on budget and time . ## Selected projects - [Black Stallion](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/black-stallion-pj-vj~6450633) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 1 - [Hagen Hall Restoration](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/hagen-hall-restoration-pj-vj~6450620) - Location: Not specified - Photos: 1 - [Craftsman Wood Door](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/craftsman-wood-door-pj-vj~2455801) - Location: Ottawa, ON - Photos: 1 - [Cathedral Hill](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/cathedral-hill-pj-vj~2455827) - Location: Ottawa, ON - Photos: 1 - [Mahogany Reproduction](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/mahogany-reproduction-pj-vj~2455843) - Location: Ottawa, ON - Photos: 1 - [Ribbon Stripe Mahogany](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/ribbon-stripe-mahogany-pj-vj~2455227) - Location: Ottawa, ON - Photos: 1 - [White Oak Reproduction](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/white-oak-reproduction-pj-vj~2474588) - Location: Ottawa, ON - Photos: 1 - [Art Deco Theatre Doors](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/art-deco-theatre-doors-pj-vj~2475073) - Location: Ottawa, ON - Photos: 1 - [Mizrahi Interior Doors](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/mizrahi-interior-doors-pj-vj~2455188) - Location: Ottawa, ON - Photos: 2 - [Walnut Entry Door](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/walnut-entry-door-pj-vj~2455838) - Location: Ottawa, ON - Photos: 1 - [Mahogany Entry Door](https://www.houzz.com/hznb/projects/mahogany-entry-door-pj-vj~2455171) - Location: Ottawa, ON - Photos: 1 [See all 11 projects](https://www.houzz.com/professionals/door-sales-and-installation/graemar-carpenters-and-joiners-pfvwus-pf~1762334131) --- *Source: Houzz professional profile.
