> One of the best decisions when updating my condo was working with Linda Sweek Designs and her awesome talents. She was extremely personable, professional and helpful. Linda originally came in to help me with curtains in my bedroom. It was a great experience because we went over the colors and fabrics, different styles of curtains and a timeline of when it would be completed. The quality of the curtains was amazing, I was so happy with the end result from my bedroom curtains, I ended up working with her on the living room curtains and pillows for my couch. Her eye for style is amazing and her work really speaks for itself. I have timeless curtains and pillows that I can use for years to come. I have experienced the value and quality from Linda Sweek Designs and highly recommend her services.

> “For years I struggled with the right color paint in our newly built house. The great room, hall, kitchen, dining area, and kitchen island all flow together. I wanted different paint for all that, yet I wanted it to compliment the flow. Several people made suggestions and I painted andrepainted numerous times over a few years – never finding the right color combinations. Then I asked Linda Sweek Designs to help with paint colors. I was amazed how Linda chose the perfect colorscheme with four different colors. I was also amazed how quickly she chose them – in about15 minutes. It was beautiful. It has now been several years since I painted and I am stillcontent with the colors chosen. It’s perfect!

> When it was time to decorate, I turned to Linda. She helped with furniture, carpet, artwork, and accessories. For the carpeting, I didn’t have the time to pick anything out. So I asked Lindato meet my husband at the carpet store. I trusted that she knew my taste and style and wouldchoose something I loved. She did!
>
> For the wall de cor, I wanted original artwork but my budget was limited. Linda suggested wego to an end-of-season art show where artist’s prices are limited to no more than $100 for anyitem. We had a great time picking out items for every room. The focal point for the great roomwas a very large watercolor that needed to be framed. Linda had it tastefully framed for me.
>
> Finally, she made fabric choices and custom made all the window treatments. Beautiful! Lindaalso had great advice on a problematic window.Friends admire my de cor all the time. I couldn't have done it without Linda Sweek Designs."

> I have very special curtains thanks to Linda.
> She made scalloped, inverted pleat, lined, tie tab valances. She also needed to scale each one perfectly for the three various window sizes in my living room and dining room. I get compliments on the window treatment all the time.
> Linda also helped with selecting furniture, carpet, paint color, and artwork.
> She is an excellent consultant. I am very happy with her work and expertise.

> Linda is organized, focused, decisive, visionary, an extraordinary personal shopper, and fun to work with. She picked out paint colors and new furniture for my family room and living room and was respectful of my budget. Linda had good ideas on how to freshen up some of the furniture I was keeping as well. She helped with curtain selection and alteration as well as fabric selection for pillows that she sewed. I highly recommend Linda.

## Community Q&A

**Q: love these red floral curtains. where can I purchase them?.** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Sorry to hear the fabric isn't available any longer. You may want to take a look at www.fabric.com under home decor fabrics. They have thousands of choices and good prices. If you find something you like and need any additional help, please let me know. Good luck.

**Q: Color** *(in Photo Questions)*

What is wall paint color?

A: That is my favorite paint color to decorate with - the SW's Blonde. I have used it numerous times from kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and hallway. Always happy with the outcome.

**Q: Help with comforter** *(in Design Dilemma)*

This is the wallpaper behind bed and I need a comforter to coordinate. Thinking of just white but another pattern might be nice. The rest of room is painted the background green color.

A: Pretty wallpaper. If you go with a white comforter, I would suggest several pillows in complimentary greens. There are a lot of color block patters available that would be good with this design.

**Q: Multipurpose room needs window treatment** *(in Before & After)*

I've reorganized my multipurpose room /sewing/.computer/ spare bedroom. I still am not sure about the placement of furniture but can only go so far with the computer attachments. The corner TV cabinet is gone and I may put the tV on a corner shelf. I've taken down the curtains and put up wooden blinds. do I need a fabric window treatment to soften the room?

A: This uses two rod pockets. One at the top and the other about 4" from the bottom. When you hang the rods, bring the lower rod up to create the slight puff.
