> New York Woodworking is an excellent carpenter.  They did all the molding, and woodwork in my house and I am COMPLETELY satisfied with their work.  Everything looks beautiful and exactly how I envisioned in my mind.  They also did built in dining room cabinets that are gorgeous, completely exceeded my expectation with mirrored background, glass shelves, wood design on door cabinets (see photos).   They listen to your wants and needs and really do everything to make sure you are happy with the end product.  They are extremely reliable, hard working and skilled.  I recommend them 100%.  Doug, the owner is very patient and knowledgeable.  I get compliments all the time about how beautiful all my wood work is including my coffered ceiling.  They are wonderful.

## Community Q&A

**Q: New kitchen cabinets cracking.** *(in Woodworking)*

Custom inset cabinets are less than 2 months old and are cracking is this normal? Also is it possible for inset cabinet doors to be soft close

A: Definitely contact the company.  If the cabinets were built custom, then they should have their own finishers & if they are a reputable outfit, they will send the finishers to do touch-ups.
