I hired her for a kitchen renovation, new floors for the kitchen, dining room and living room, a fireplace refacing and a bathroom renovation. Her expertise and knowledge for design and products combined with her fun and patient professionalism made me feel confident about my choices (and where I was spending my money) throughout the entire project. I started with no idea what I wanted besides new, bright and open. Our first day together was spent going through a zillion different tiles, backsplashes and counter tops where she listened to my comments on what I liked and didn't like and kept refining the things she was showing me until I landed on a backsplash that I absolutely loved. This then became the beginning of the whole feel for my renovation. I also really appreciate her ability to keep the theme in mind at all time so everything flows and complements. An example is when we shopped for lights and I arrived early at the store. When Aida arrived, I proudly showed her this great light I had found. She did not scoff or tell me it was ridiculous. She explained in a very respectful way how it was a lovely light but a completely different style than everything else I had chosen for the renovation. We then spent two hours choosing all the lights for my home and I love them all. At times, I look at the entrance way where my chosen light would be and realize it was ridiculous and without the benefit of Aida's vision, I would not have realized it until it was purchased and installed. What material is your back splash ? And where did you get it ? Looks Great! A: Hi Terry. This is an old project of mine .The tiles are from julian tile. my client was on a budget so i have chosen a tile that looks like marble and they are big tiles to have less grout lines . Regards.
