It fit both the property and our lifestyle like a glove.  The process was painless and even though Carl was out of state for much of the construction, he kept a very close eye on the project.  We had a small drywall cracking issue after the fact and Carl was quick to diagnose and remedy that issue as well.  You really can't go wrong with Shipley Design.  Carl would be my pick if I set out to do it again.

**Q: Cost of a bungalow pop top** *(in Other)*

What is the current price per square foot for a Denver bungalow basic pop top? I need to see if I can afford this before I get too deep in getting quotes. Thanks!

A: Hello Allison...Tough question.  As you know kitchens and bathrooms are the most expensive rooms in a remodel/new build project...Plus, the home construction market is very busy driving labor and materials costs up as well.  Remodeling and adding-on is still the best (least expensive) way to build equity versus selling and buying new.  For a remodel/addition on an existing home (no new foundations) I think you can expect to pay $175.00 to $225.00/sqft...new build construction could rum $250.00 to 300.00/sqft.  One way to save $$$ is for you to be the contractor with an Owner's Building Permit versus hiring a General Contractor.  Hope this helps...call to discuss further.  303.718.0722
