They built our dream home out in the country. They made the process very easy on us and very fun. There are a lot of items to pick out for a new home and they did a great job not to overwhelm us. Everyone we delt with from Lumber One was very friendly and easy to work with. All of the Sub Contractors were excellent as well. From the Concreate guys to the Framers to the Cabinet Builders, Siders, Drywall, HVAC & Electrical. Every Sub had excellent attention to the details. They all also had great things to say about Lumber One which says a lot in my book. We worked directly with Jack Brandes at Lumber One. He was an excellent guide through the entire process. He had the answer for every question we had. He gave us great insight on which details we should focus on and where we could save a few dollars. Not to mention that the build took place through the COVID pandemic. We never had any issues with materials being late or Subs not showing up when they were supposed to. We actually moved into the house a head of schedule. Would recommend to anyone. **★ — Justin Stommes, Jan. 2019** > A deck was built for our family - shoddy workmanship lead to them coming back to redo a portion of the deck and stairs. Those were not completed. LumberOne filed a Mechanich's Lien on my parents who had been waiting to pay the other half of the bill until things were completed. Hired a reputable contractor to appraise the deck, he found $1,500 worth of repairs would be needed. Things escalated where they spent more money on their attorney fee than we were asking back.
