They ordered the wrong parts for the sink and shower. I have been waiting two weeks for them to arrive. My bathroom mostly finished at the beginning of January. It took five months for this six week project to be completed. The tile installer and carpenter were very good. The rest of the contractor were sloppy and took their time to get things done. I would never recommend anyone using them. My contact at the business seemed to be juggling three to four other jobs at the same time. I am not happy with this company. **★ — Gena Mercier, March 2022** > Buyer Beware: Our business with Kitchen & Bath Design turned out to be the worst experience we have ever had dealing with a home improvement company. We had a product failure on our granite countertops starting ~3 and a half years after installation. After the initial installation the Countertops appeared to have an odd bread crumbs flaking look to it, and we questioned it immediately. Rich came out and said it was fine. > > Rich and Donny were totally unprofessional although very quick to take our money, and when issues came to surface (literally), we got a complete run around for more than 2 months before they finally sent someone to fix (so we thought). This person came and asked why he was here, stayed 10 minutes providing conflicting information and said we needed to contact the office. > > We had at least 2-3 different discussions with both Rich and Donny, and each time they assured us it would be taken care of. We were sold a poor quality granite for countertops, and never advised of the known chararastics and consequently ~ 3 and a half years down the road after following Kitchen Design's explicit instructions for cleaning/sealing (along with the products they said to use), we had chipping, a fair amount of roughness and what appeared to look like bread crumbs (we since learned this is common for this granite and should have been advised prior to buying it). > > Rich and Donny were arrogant, belligerent, and would not stand behind the faulty product, and tried to continuously say it was our fault. No client should be treated in such a manner as we were. > > Instead of trying to be helpful, and work with us, their answer was that we put bleach or ammonia on the Granite (totally ridiculous and not true). Granite should last a lifetime, not 4 years. > > In our final conversation they informed us that they were not willing to do anything about the product failure. **★★★★★ — Jeff R., Nov. 2020** > Our family worked with Don and his crew on two different projects, first our kitchen (finished in Dec of 2017), then another project 1.5 years later. Our kitchen had some good bones but was terribly outdated. We had a very specific vision we were trying to achieve (green cabinets!) We met with Don early on in our whole home renovation, and he was able to help bring our kitchen vision to life. This included: taking down a wall to open up the space, pulling up a brick floor, all electrical, plumbing, gas lines, new windows, wood flooring, drywall (both ceilings and walls), cabinetry layout/configuration/install, tile install, carefully retrofitting a brick wall to accommodate a new gas range, and countertops. His cabinet install guys were fantastic. They were super respectful of our home during the construction process. In the adjoining family room, we had really beautiful existing hardwood floors we were also trying to match in the new kitchen. Don's floor guy (Ricky), did a fantastic job of helping us pick the right wood, and find a stain to match the rest of our first floor. I knew exactly what I wanted coming into the project, and was a very hands-on client - and Don was super accommodating about letting me be involved in the project to ensure I was happy throughout.
