WeatherGard did return to the home and removed trim, replaced and re-caulked. The caulking then failed again and the company came back out to repair the caulk. The installer crew then proclaimed that to do the job correctly all trim would again need to be replaced. The crew had sliced and cut open the caulk and left it that way. In early 2017 I contacted for completion of the repairs with no response. After several e- mails with no response I had to call Dave in the repair shop. Dave indicated that WeatherGard wanted to send the caulking OEM out to the home to review the caulking installation. After that review the caulking OEM advised that the window trim did not need to removed and re-installed but only needed to be properly re-caulked with another one of their products. A good amount of time passed and I again e-mail WeathGard service and requested the repairs be completed within the next two weeks, and I called Tony the service manager. Dave did contact me the next day to inform me that he had ordered the OEM recommend caulk and that WeathGard would come back to recaulk the windows. WeatherGard has not responded to my e-mail inquiries since then and has not competed the project. > It has been over a year and WeatherGard has not returned to complete repairs. Having managed bussiness over my work career I like to think I know a lot about people and work ethic. These guys were just awesome, I can't say enough about them all! I don't even know where to start. just throw away any fliers you get from WeatherGard. My mistake was opening the door for someone handing out fliers and signing up people for a free home estimate. after agreeing to have a sales person come over and going over all my options, I was considering a new roof, siding, and windows, after letting this person in my house for two evenings I was stunned when I got the estimate for everything (over $40,000) when I told the sales person that it was to much and I was just going to get the new roof it was like I just wasted all of his time. A few weeks passed and My hours got cut at work so when I called WeatherGard to tell them I needed to hold off on the new roof I was told if I was going to cancel I would be charged a restocking fee over $400 so I just went ahead and had the roof installed. when the roof installers showed up I asked them if they had my sales person phone number I was told they are just contractors for WeatherGard what a joke. Alright when these guys finished I had a smashed flower bed, a broken walkway paver, and a thousand nails in my lawn and driveway, I asked the foreman of the crew about everything was told they didn't do any of the damage and they ran a magnet over the lawn to pick up the nails. so after they left I checked my lawn and found hundreds of nails in my lawn and driveway. so I called my WeatherGard sales person to let them know what happened and get the roof installers back to clean up a little better, I was told I had to call customer service and not to call him for any problems. so I called customer service and let them know what was going on didn't hear back for two days so I ended up cleaning up all the nails myself. anyways that was most of my problems with this company.
