She was very patient with us as we had her design what were in essence three pocket gardens for our house on a narrow lot near the beach. At first, it'd seem simpler since they are smaller gardens, but in reality, since they are small all the construction details and material selection are super important as we would be seeing them everyday! Plus, we're artists, so we're concerned with aesthetics too. It was super helpful and important that Kara had a great digital design program that would help us visualize her design for our space which included being able to depict it at different times of day, from morning to night! Also, it's was great that Kara has a team with whom she has worked in the past and trusts. It really made things go smoother and sometimes there were extra items thrown in at no extra charge. I would highly recommend Kara if you want someone who will listen to your needs, will make recommendations, and then adjust after an initial review of the plans. Kara also has a good pricing plan for different phases, ranging from providing only digital plans to overseeing the actual construction. We chose to have see all the way through and couldn't have been more pleased! One recommendation is that if you are redesigning the entire exterior, as we did, then I'd suggest going with demolishing all your cement areas. At first we were reluctant but so glad that we did as it provided Kara more creative opportunities with angles, embedding lights, and the such. MILKWEED common** *(in Milkweed)* last month i bought 2 packs of 100 seeds of common milkweed (asclepias syriaca) and i put them in a wet paper towel for 2 weeks and took them out and had 100% germination. I have 1 pack of 100 left if anyone wants it i can trade or just mail it out. The more people planting it the better! A: Hi Andrew!
