A: Crystal Cabinetry classic white.

**Q: What color and brand is the ceiling?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you please tell me about the wood on the ceiling?

A: The ceiling is stock tongue and groove pine or fir that has been stained (white washed). The beamed sections are white painted wood that was hand built by a carpenter.

**Q: How many single hanging pendants** *(in Photo Questions)*

How many single hanging pendant lights would be needed for an island that is 8ft with an attached table 4 ft long. Total 12 ft?

A: The coffered ceiling is painted stock lumber. For the flat ceiling you can use bead board and stain or paint it.

**Q: distance between island and outer cabinets?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I love this design! How much space between the island and perimeter cabinets? Thank you.

A: Thank-you for your question. There is 43" between the island and sink, 48" between the end of the island and the cooktop, and about 6' between the island and fridge wall. The microwave angles in, so there is only 42" to the island at that point. The National Kitchen and Bath Association recommends at least 42" of walk space between an island and perimeter cabinetry and 48" at an area that may have two people working such as the cooking area and an island prep area. Those dimensions allow for easy movement and access to the kitchen work areas.

What are the dimensions of island. How much over hang for chair?

A: The island, including countertop overhang, is 4' 7" W x 10' 10" L. There is approximately 2' of knee space for the counter stools.
