She spent more than an hour chatting with us on the shared folks we knew and a second 40 minutes on design—but charged us for a 2 hour consultation. As for useable advice, I walked away with 2 ideas: move the sofa back and place a rung under the table. Not helpful for 300.00. Rework the mudroom area by moving shelves to flank basement door, consider making one of the existing bedrooms an office. Also discussed- remove extra items and furniture in family room to open up space, and move dining table from corner to connect with living space. I hope this is helpful.
