A: We provide house plans / construction documents for the structure, but the finish material selections, landscaping, and furnishing / decorating are all performed by the homeowner, their contractor, and often an interior designer. A: As the designers of the home and its structure, we don't get into placing furniture - that's done by the homeowners when they move in. Looking at the photo, it just looks to be sat on a purpose made support table. Sometimes 'decorative truss', if it's non-structural, or just 'exposed wood truss' over the entry.
