At Webber + Studio we believe a home transcends ordinary to become exquisite when it reflects the uniqueness of our clients, inspiring them to be better in the world.

Our team of award winning architects applies decades of custom residential and multifamily design experience to the transformation of new and existing homes alike, enriching lives in unexpected ways.

We are headquartered out of Austin Texas, and are often called upon in other cities such as Dallas, Houston, and other high end luxury locations where exquisite design is a must in the program.

We have become inspired by some of America’s great vernacular traditions, both glamorous and unglamorous. Less concerned with style as much as function and context, we treat each project as an exploration in marrying our client’s objectives with the characteristics of their program and site to achieve the uniqueness that is the hallmark of our work.

Webber + Studio, Architects specialize in direct solutions to architectural problems, using a guiding set of principles: Functionalism, Expressionism, Regionalism, and Minimalism. Setting a priority on the client's and site's needs, The Studio’s rigorous approach has yielded a diverse and innovative body of work.

> It's hard to say what is the very best thing about Webber + Studio.
> It could be the deep understanding of Austin architecture, where it has been, where it is going, what is worth preserving and what needs to be refreshed. Perhaps it is working with professionals that have found the right mix between timely delivery and attention to detail. It might even be the dedication to ensuring that every plan is as close to perfect as possible to ensure a build that can proceed smoothly without costly, time consuming reworks.
> Without question it is working with a team that spends the time to get to know the client, family, how they live, what is important to them and what they can live without.
> For us there wasn't one very best thing, it was everything. From the beginning to the end and beyond David and the team were focused on not only delivering us the very best design but ensuring it was able to be built in the best, most cost effective way possible.
>
> We are tempted to search for a new project to do it all again.

> We had the pleasure of working with Webber + Studio on a ranch project in Mason County, Texas. As colleagues collaborating on the landscape portion of the project, we were impressed with the high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and architectural vision that the entire team exhibits. They are attentive to clients and take the time to deeply understand the context of the site and how it relates to the architecture of the home. The contractors they bring onto projects are the very best. The Webber team is one of our preferred architecture firms to collaborate with!

**Comment from Webber + Studio, Architects:**

> A great project, indeed, and really fun to collaborate with other top-tier colleagues.

**★★★★★ — Heather McKinney, Oct. 2017**

> David has a terrific practice, creating beautiful, elegant homes for his clients. I have seen a number of them on AIA Austin Homes Tours and have met some of his happy clients. I know that he is a stickler for details but also a fun collaborator. I think his homes are carefully sited to take full advantage of views, breezes, trees and other special site characteristics. The two of us worked together on a Dallas residence years ago and it is still on of my favorite projects.

**Comment from Webber + Studio, Architects:**

> Thanks Heather, always a pleasure working with you. Here's hoping for more opportunities in the future!

**★★★★★ — User, Feb. 2016**

> Very professional, great vision and understanding of project requirements. We needed to postpone the project but hope to work with them in the future.

**★★★★★ — Arete European Kitchens, Jan. 2015**

> We have had the honor of working with Webber + Studio on multiple stellar projects through the years. Every project is executed with the highest level of professionalism, expertise and diligence. David and his team are not only talented and conscientious, but genuinely passionate and good-natured. Time spent with Webber + Studio is inspirational and a rewarding experience for clients and colleagues alike. They are extraordinary masters at their craft.

**★★★★★ — Chris Christo, July 2014**

> Absolutely AMAZING projects! All of the projects seem to be very homie, and full of life. Truly amazing, inside and out. They make me want to leave NYC and move to Austin :)

**★★★★★ — noracarol, Feb. 2014**

> My husband and I hired Webber+Studio to remodel our late 70s ranch-style home in 2008. David and his staff are exceptional! Not only are they fun to hang out with but the attention to detail put into our home has made it the place to be in our neighborhood. Meeting with David almost weekly helped our builder stay on track and kept us up-to-date about every detail of our home. If you are considering a project, call Webber+Studio right now!!!!

**★★★★★ — User, Feb. 2013**

> David and his team of designers are an incredible asset to any builder that has the opportunity. Excited to get our new clients into their home and continue the professional relationship!!

**★★★★★ — Cravotta Interiors, June 2012**

> As an interior designer, I've been a fan of Webber + Studio architects for a number of years and have recently had the privilege of working with David Webber and his team on a significant hi-rise residence. The project is shaping up to be really special and because of the quality of design that's come from the collaboration, it's also my favorite to date. David is a clear thinker and communicator and his design sense is among the best in the industry. He's a pleasure to work with and has my highest recommendation.

> We really enjoy working with Webber Studio. David Webber is so talented and creates amazing projects. We are always excited to be selected as the contractor for a Webber Studio project.

**★★★★★ — austexas, May 2012**

> We have known David for many years and worked with him recently on an interior update of our home with fantastic results. David has amazing vision, spot-on aesthetics, meticulous execution, and he is an all-around great guy to boot. He listens to his clients and offers great ideas that blend exquisite style, solid construction, and seamless functionality according to each client's goals, needs and budget. He is honest and up front about cost and is a great example of getting what you pay for. He isn't the cheapest, but he is the best. Highly recommend.

**★★★★★ — Risinger Homes, May 2012**

> As a contractor I LOVE working with Webber+ Studio. Their plans are fantastic, they do their own interiors, and they are very detailed. This allows me to give detailed and correct bids with very few allowance assumptions. This saves their clients huge amounts of cash and headaches by making these decisions in the pre-construction time. Very few firms have this mix of good office management and amazing design savvy. I very highly recommend them!

**Comment from Webber + Studio, Architects:**

> Thanks Matt, The Mount Bonnell Project is just up on the site as well.
> Always great to team up with Risinger Homes!

Complimenting an austere backdrop of unadorned Venetian plaster and polished concrete floors, the home’s plan and elevation mirror the symmetry inspired by the “II” in its name. - Description: The Barcode House sits on a small lot shaded by a pair of majestic Live Oak trees in the Bouldin Creek neighborhood of Austin, TX. The canopy wraps the home in a verdant hug, keeping it cool in the summer and cozy in the winter. Now an integral feature, this pair once posed a significant problem: their root zone made the lot ostensibly unbuildable. Rather than shy away from this formidable challenge, the architects and homeowners drew inspiration from it, designing the buildable area to accommod…

  - Description: This remodel and addition complements a 1968 house initially designed by locally acclaimed modernist, AD Stenger. Extensive setbacks and impervious cover limits forced the 1500sf addition to go up. Having known this Japanese-inspired house as a youth, the architect knew of Stenger’s portfolio, including an A-frame nearby. By merging the vertical, reinterpreted A-frame with the horizontal original house, the architect maintained balance while allowing each part to stand alone. To achieve the casu…

Expansion was addressed via a series of interconnected spaces. Guests are drawn from the original inward-looking two-room cottage at the front, through a compressed tube-like space containing the kitchen, and culminating in a voluminous rear addition. The addition’s symmetry subtly echoes that of the original cottage. The existing stru…
