> Jennifer is fabulous and all around just lovely to work with. She is patient and kind and truly helped us transform our house. The different levels of services she offers made it possible for us to access her talent and expertise, but on a scale we could manage financially. If you are feeling stuck like we were and having trouble figuring out how to move forward in your home, calling Jennifer would be a very wise move - just wish we had done it sooner!

> Working with Jennifer was an absolute dream! From start to finish, she made the process of designing our new home effortless and fun. Jennifer helped us with every selection, from paint colors and flooring to furniture and decor, and the results are beyond what we imagined. She really took the time to understand our style and needs, offering expert advice and suggestions that we hadn’t even considered. Communication was always clear and timely, and we felt totally supported throughout the entire process. Our new home feels warm, inviting, and truly reflects our personality, thanks to Jennifer's attention to detail and design expertise. Highly recommend for anyone looking to transform their space!

> Jennifer is creative, smart and respectful! I used her services to refresh 6 rooms and it's like I live in a brand new home with such minor changes. She respected my budget like it was her own and was mindful of my restricted time schedule as well. I feel blessed to have found such a creative designer to work with.

> We love our home - and after 30+ years it was past time to show our home some love. Jennifer Taylor took so much time getting to know us and our home. She designed our dream kitchen complete with a large walk-in butler’s pantry and turned our late 1980s cramped bathrooms into stunning, spacious and useful rooms. Jennifer and her staff were extremely kind, easy to work with and very responsive. She kept our project moving and was very diligent in following up with us and our building contractor. We had a great experience and we are so happy with our home makeover. We would highly recommend Jennifer Taylor Design. - Bert and Tracy Morales

> When my husband and I made the decision to build a new home in Tallahassee, we had some serious concerns. We were going to be travelling for an extended period of time and would not be around to make important decisions. I reached out to our new community for a decorator referral and Jennifer Taylor’s name came up several times. Once we met Jennifer, we knew she was the right person for the job. After our first meeting, she knew exactly what we wanted and helped pull it all together. Jennifer was so easy to work with. She has a great disposition and is super creative, detail oriented and organized. Jennifer made the whole process of building a home seem so easy. From finalizing plans, to picking paint color, floor coverings, cabinet design, door knobs, plumbing, lighting and everything in between, Jennifer was there helping us make decisions. Once that was all in order, we hired her to help furnish the house. Now she is helping us accessorize. I am so thankful that we found Jennifer. Our house looks amazing and everything I dreamed it would look like. Thank you, Jennifer. You are worth your weight in gold!

**Comment from Jennifer Taylor Design:**

> It was my absolute pleasure working with you both! Your home turned out beautiful and I can't wait to start on the next phase.

**★★★★★ — Stephanie Lloyd, Feb. 2019**

> We hired Jennifer to do a complete renovation of our condo in Tallahassee. It was the best decision we made! She designed, furnished, decorated, and oversaw all of the construction, which was essential because we live in Bradenton. She was extremely organized, diligent, helpful, and made the entire project fun and stress free. If there was an issue, Jennifer was there to resolve it. The decor has an industrial theme with a touch of FSU spirit. It looks fabulous and everyone raves about it when they come visit. I wish she lived in Bradenton so we could use her again!

**Comment from Jennifer Taylor Design:**

> Thank you Stephanie and Bill for such a kind review! You guys were a DREAM to work with and your trust in me is what created such a great result. I hope this condo provides many years of memories for your family. And please know, I will travel. :)

> Jennifer was great to work with. We gave her a tough task in the first project of designing a room for causal use and have our triathlon bikes in the room. She came up with an outstanding design. You would think that we almost have 2 rooms in one. We had her back for a second room and again we could not be happier. Jennifer, staff, and sub contractors she uses are all first rate.

**Comment from Jennifer Taylor Design:**

> Thank you for the 5-star review! I have enjoyed working with you over the years and look forward to many more projects together. Enjoy your family room!

**★★★★★ — Lecia Behenna, June 2017**

> Jennifer was a dream designer to work with. Our work and personal schedules are beyond crazy busy and she understood that. She arranged meetings around our schedules, and was always concise and very to the point on design suggestions. She's very people oriented and so was very easy to get along with. That said, she has what all good ID professionals have - an artistic vision on every aspect of a home's interior (as well as exterior issues such as paint, outdoor lighting, etc.). Further, she knows retailers, contractors, and subs in our community - and although she had never met our GC, they instantly bonded and were a great team. We'd recommend Jennifer to anyone in a heartbeat!

**Comment from Jennifer Taylor Design:**

> Your project was also a "dream" to work on. Thank you for the kind review!

**★★★★★ — Jeff Stoops, Nov. 2016**

> Jennifer was great to work with. Our project started with a condo shell, so we needed everything. She oversaw the entire job, including floors, painting and electricians. Most impressively, we worked with Jennifer long-distance through the entire project. She was able to keep us totally up to speed through samples, pictures and phonecalls. She has great design ideas and taste, but really listens to the customer to come up with the perfect end product. We have already recommended her to several friends.

**Comment from Jennifer Taylor Design:**

> Thank you Jeff for the wonderful review and the referrals! Loved working with you both and excited to share the photos from your project very soon on Houzz.

**★★★★★ — ebduggan, April 2016**

> Jennifer Taylor was an absolute delight to work with, and I'm very happy with the outcome. She took my home to a whole new level. She redecorated every room in my house and was very patient with me during the entire process, especially when I was slow in selecting fabrics and furniture. She's very organized and didn't give me too many things at a time to make a decision on, thank goodness. That can be a bit overwhelming for non-creative types like me. She returned texts and emails promptly and kept me up-to-date on the status of each phase of the project. Jennifer has a very positive, upbeat personality that was consistent throughout our yearlong project. It was a lot of fun, and I just love walking through my house now. Thank you Jennifer!!

**Comment from Jennifer Taylor Design:**

> Thank you for such a wonderful review! You were an amazing client and I'm looking forward to getting started on your kitchen design very soon.

 - Description: This budget-friendly renovation project was a pleasure to design and execute for our client. The home had not been updated for about 20 years and it was time to make it a reflection of the family that lives there. In the main living areas, we replaced the carpet and tile with wood flooring. The fireplace received a complete makeover that included new tile and mantle design, as well as a built-in cabinet for the television. In addition to fully furnishing the home, we completely renovated three bathrooms and updated all the finishes throughout. This was designed with the Florida State Seminoles in mind - so we sprinkled a little garnet and gold in each room. The project cost listed below includes the cost of the renovations. - Description: This high-end rental home in Watercolor, Florida is great example of how a little color goes a long way. We were hired to get this home ready for the rental season. It had been used and abused for many years and needed a complete overhaul. In addition to furnishing the home, we also selected new paint colors and lighting throughout. We kept most of the furnishings and bedding neutral, but brought in the personality with fabrics and art. This way of designing a rental home makes it simple for the…

## Community Q&A

**Q: can you please share where the bar stools are from?** *(in Photo Questions)*

barstools

A: I ordered these for my clients from one of my trade vendors.

**Q: what color brick is this?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Can you share what color brick is used here?

A: This brick is from South Georgia Brick (Tallahassee, Florida) and it's called "Old Bailey". It's relatively new.

**Q: Love the rug! Is it custom?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: No, it comes in a variety of ready-made sizes and is very affordable. If you’d like more information, please email me. jennifer@jennifertaylordesign.com

**Q: kitchen Reno: glass cabinet doors above range?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

A reno is being planned. New, white, shaker cabinets will go in and extend to the ceiling. The glass door in the corner will be replaced by a non-glassed one. A new SS induction range will go in with a low profile SS range hood. My worry is that my new kitchen will look like a sea of cabinet doors. I’d like to add some glass to break it up and add sparkle. I like the look of the small glass doors at the ceiling, but my ceiling is just standard height, so the upper cabs will have just one door vertically. Trend seems to be the chimney-style hoods but I’m not fond of that look. The best focal point, and most symmetrical spot in my kitchen would be to add 2 glass doors above the range hood. I’m not cooking a lot of greasy or smokey foods, so I don’t think cleanliness will be an issue (I regularly wipe down my cabinets anyway). Any thoughts on this? Good idea? Bad?

A: Is there a ventilation chase inside your cabinets now? If so, you wouldn't want glass cabinets there as it will be exposed.

**Q: Brick for Fireplace** *(in Photo Questions)*

I like the look of the fireplace. Where did you purchase and what exact kind is it? We just bought a lake house and want to do something like this for the fireplace that has a not so nice tile with it now.

Thanks!
Wendy

A: This stone fireplace was in the home when my client purchased it. Thanks for your question!

**Q: I Love the exterior paint color! Can you share the color name? Thanks** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: I now have the exterior paint colors for this home. Please email me if you are still interested. jennifer@jennifertaylordesign.com
