> I have had the opportunity to work with Stuart and his staff on two separate occasions – once during the Fall of 2012 and again the Summer/Fall of 2013.  The Fall 2012 project was a complete renovation of the first floor as a result of a flood.  Stuart was immediately on the job and had my project completed prior to anyone else I know who had similar circumstances.  He had his crew working almost around the clock to make sure we could return to a normal life as quickly as possible.  The second project was a significant master bedroom and bathroom addition.

> On both occasions, he has been 100% on budget, diligent and most importantly honest.  I have worked with other builders in the past who nickel and dime the homeowner on every occasion.  Stuart has not once done that to me and has gone above and beyond in making sure we were satisfied.

> MacGregor Builders did an extensive exterior renovation to my 200 year old farm house which included replacing windows, siding, roof, chimneys and wrap around porch.  All work was done in a professional manner with the most skilled laborers.  Everything that Stuart said that he would do was done.  He met our deadlines and kept within our budget.  I had worked with Stuart on a client's home 10 years before (as I am a designer).  There were situations that arose that needed solutions and Stuart always had the answer - there were no problems that he couldn't find a solution for.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Driveway** *(in Photo Questions)*

Driveway material?

A: The border on the driveway is Belgium block laying flat. It is not grey color. They make another color that has pink hughes in it that is the one we used. the stone is 3/8" river lend over a RCA 3 inch base (recycled concrete base. The base is key. There is on 3/4 of an inch finish stone to insure it stay put and doesn't pile up. To much finish stone and not enough base is a mess

A: I believe it is Restoration Hardware.

**Q: What color paint was used on the exterior shingles?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: They are pre-dipped Maibec shingles from Canada. The stain color is Cabot's Cape Cod Grey. You should not purchase that stain from anywhere in the US because the Cape Cod grey in the US is completely different from the Cape Cod Grey in Canada due to the VOC regulations.
