## Community Q&A

**Q: Gate comes in 6 ft with 2 I’m still short?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

A: You may want to think about possibly building a "gate pier" on each side to eat up the space. Depending on the gate selected, these could be more substantial than the fence termination posts and be more structural for a large swinging gate.

**Q: What is the pitch of main roof?  Width & pitch of dormer/gable?** *(in Photo Questions)*

Want to do something similar to 4/12 pitch roof.

A: This is a 5:12 pitch roof. This project was to add a detached garage. In order to make it match the house we added the reverse gables with similar trim details onto the home. The widths over the overbuilt gables are simply proportional with the columns and areas below.

**Q: Could you tell me size of the posts and the stain color?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Those are 12" cedar columns with a clear stain.

**Q: What color is the plaster in the pool?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: I am sorry. I don't have any information on the pool.

**Q: What is the depth of the entertainment center?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: This unit is not very deep.  12" and 16" built-ins.
