**★★★★★ — TP price, June 2022**

> We had the best experience from beginning to end with Meyer Contracting! We had a full 900 sq. ft. basement finish and front door with sidelights replacemtn which truly upgraded our home! Bryan and his wife Sara Meyer were extremely helpful in every step of the process and very responsive to all of our questions along the way. Every person we worked with within Meyer Contracting was professional and had outstanding service! We are extremely pleased with everything and we recommend them to everyone we know!

> We used Meyer Contracting LLC to turn our unfinished basement into a finished exercise area and game room, and to upgrade an adjoining bedroom. Our experience with Meyer was one of the best we've ever had with anyone we have ever hired to work for us. They offered very helpful pointers and options on how best to utilize the space, with various price points, and when we decided on a final choice, they executed almost flawlessly. Their employees, and various subcontractors (HVAC, flooring, electrical) were very well-mannered, professional and on-time over the course of this one-month project. We are extremely pleased with Meyer's work product and highly recommend them. As an aside, our work was completed last summer (2019) but we delayed submitting a review until we had sufficient time and usage to permit a more informed opinion.

> Bryan Meyer's team of professionals are excellent. They let you know which trades are coming in next and what to expect, and they show up as expected. They do great work and clean up after themselves. I would highly recommend Meyer Contracting, LLC of St. Louis, MO.

> We had Meyer Contracting finish our basement and update 2 bathrooms - they did OUTSTANDING work - impeccable attention to detail. Very efficient and professional - we continually refer them to anyone we know of looking to have work done.

**★★★★★ — Lamar Young, Nov. 2014**

> From beginning to end the project was professional. Bryan did a great job spending time to ensure that our basement was finished to our liking. Even when there were constraints based on the physical layout, he offered alternatives or suggestions that worked out great. All of the employees were professional and respectful. The project was finished in a timely manner. I would definately recommend working with them. We received several estimates. Meyer Contracting was consistent with others, but the time and attention to detail during our "interview" process was what sold us on Meyer Contracting.

**Comment from Meyer Contracting, LLC:**

> Thank you so much for the great review Lamar!! We are so glad you were pleased with our services and we hope that you will consider us for any upcoming projects you or anyone you know may have. Have a wonderful 2015!!

## Community Q&A

**Q: Should girls have less pink in their bedrooms/lives?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I am trying to decide whether to paint my young daughter's room pink. She is 2 and doesn't yet have an opinion, but it does not feel right to me. Everything you buy for girls seems to be pink. It's so hard to find bags, dresses or accessories that are NOT pink! WHY!

Do you think girls should have less pink stuff forced on them, including pink bedroom walls?

A: I think you should always paint a room a more neutral color and just change the accents in the room. If She likes pink now you can add pink accents to the room and in a few years she may change her mind and love purple. Having a neutral wall you would just have to change the curtains, bedding and other accents in the room. You wouldn't have to repaint the entire room when she changes her mind or when she moves out and it becomes a guest bedroom or office.

**Q: Are the windows bare or do you have hidden shades?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: Beautiful!

**Q: Should I add another bench to our walkway?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

My husband and I disagree, he thinks would should add another bench and place it against the wall so that it faces the existing bench. I disagree with him but would appreciate any feedback anyone has to offer!

A: I think so!!

**Q: Laminate or Hardwood** *(in Design Dilemma)*

Our new home has laminate in the family room and office, carpet in the living/ dining room combo and tiles in the kitchen, I want to change the flooring so that everything is the same should we just change the other areas to the same laminate that we have or take everything apart and change into hardwood or 12mm laminate.

A: Hardwood

**Q: What do you miss most about your parent's house?** *(in Design Dilemma)*

It could be a particular piece of furniture, the smell, maybe just the way you felt when you lived there. If you had to choose one thing, what would be the thing you missed most?

Share your experience! (photos encouraged)

A: My step-dad's amazing cooking every night. Living with my siblings, family movie nights, their pool, not having to pay a bunch of bills :-) Being a kid! The coziness of their home.
