> We hired Joe to design our new home a little over 2 years ago. We moved into the house March of 2015 and have been living the design now for a few weeks.

> Joe is amazingly talented and we are more than pleased. I knew he was good when we hired him, but he exceeded our expectations.   We worked with Joe on the things that were important to us and he designed our home taking all those things into consideration. He had visions of how things would look, which we appreciate even more now that we are living in the house. He was very thorough and took into account every angle, every wall, every arch, all the lighting, what views we would have from each room and more. We love the custom details throughout the house and it flows just like we need it to.  The flow was as important to Joe as the lighting, the views, and all the other details.  It's amazing how he was able to incorporate everything we wanted, needed and included things we didn't even know we wanted/needed.  You can look at any detail or any area of the house and see that someone very talented designed it.  One of the best features that I appreciate daily now is that every room in our house has a spectacular view. I don’t think we started out with a ‘dream home’ in mind, but it certainly turned out that way. We love how the design came to life and we owe it all to Joe. I highly recommend Joe!

We knew all of the components we wanted to include in our home, but we had no clue what it would look like. Joe took the time and genuine interest to design a house just for the spot we chose on our ranch in the Texas Hill Country. He was mindful of the exposure to sunlight, the breezes, and every room has a spectacular view. It's as close to perfection as possible. We highly recommend Joe to anyone wanting to design a home.

## Community Q&A

**Q: Tiling a curved wall** *(in Photo Questions)*

I have a curved wall like the one in this master bathroom and really want hexagonal tiles on it but its probing difficult. Has anyone done something similar or have a solution?

A: I'm sorry, I don't. Ordinarily we would have used hexagonal, but couldn't, for the same reason you state, and went with the vertical rectangles.

Where can I find these front doors?  Are they iron?

A: Those are metal doors that were custom made by Canterra Doors of Austin.

**Q: What is the brand name of the leather chair?** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: That is the owner's furniture they brought with them, so I don't know. But, it looks like it could have come from "The Homestead" furniture store in Fredricksburg, Texas. Sorry I couldn't help more.

**Q: I would love to know the exterior paint color!!;)** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: the stucco is a pure white and the wood is a clear finish over fir. Everything else is stone.

**Q: Cabinets** *(in Photo Questions)*

What type of wood did you use for your cabinets and what is the name of the stain color?

A: The wood is alder. No stain, just clear finish.
