In the industry, Rick established his business at a young age - contracting new homes.  When I started my own architectural business some years later, I would often hear stellar reviews about Rick's work.  The joy he derives from making beautiful things eventually brought him into what I consider the finest part of the industry - interior woodworking.    Many of us in central RI frequent a local restaurant/bar which proudly showcases Rick's woodwork.  For one of my own projects, Rick produced beautiful custom cabinets with unique fold-and-slide doors.  My client had been adamant about getting "nothing but the best"  and raves to this day about Rick's talent.  On this same project, Rick was also asked to make distressed-wood "barn doors" and trapezoidal closet doors which would open toward sloping cathedral ceilings.  He proved to us that not only is he an artisan - he is also helpful and flexible with design solutions.  I can vouch for Rick's quality, timeliness, diligence, and professionalism .
