The Floor Barn is owned and operated by us, the Heltzel Family. Brian, James, Sue and Don have made improving your home and business their passion. Initially, we started our little company as a remodeling and flooring installation company named Putting On The Fix. Then over the years our clients were always looking towards us to provide their materials for them. Throughout that time as well, we also had rehabbed several homes and during that time we discovered that there had to be a better way to get more affordable floor materials to the public then what we encountered. 

After building strategic industry contacts and setting in motion a business plan to offer wholesale prices to the retail market, we opened the doors of The Floor Barn to the public. The experience by our clients have been overwhelmingly positive, of course who doesn’t want to save money!

> James and his crew were top notch from beginning to end. Gave me full size samples to take home at no charge and use as long as I needed. Gave a free estimate within 24 hours of requesting it, came in under budget at a very reasonable cost, completed the project within the time quoted, PLUS I have gorgeous wood flooring that I love! Can't wait to use them for our bathroom remodel next year :)

A: The space for the tub and shower was 8' wide and 3' Deep. The tub size was 60x32x20

**Q: Flooring** *(in Design Dilemma)*

I have two interrelated questions for a professional:

1\. I want to replace my entry and kitchen flooring and I'm looking for something that will compliment both as I want to use the same flooring. For the kitchen My specifications are something that is comfortable ie not too hard and for the entrance I want something shiny or impressive. 
2\. I have a stone veneer fireplace and my entryway needs to match the stone veneer look. What are my flooring options

A: Tile is obviously the most widely used material in the entry and kitchen, however it is a hard surface. As Hartkl mentioned, cork is a viable option with some concerns of moisture. Another option could be vinyl plank. It is water tolerant, not shiny and some of the higher end products are very cushioned and have a real wood appearance.
