> Coco was recommended to us by a friend who is an architect who has worked with her.  We engaged Coco to help us create a relaxing Asian-influenced apartment which we use as a part-time getaway.  She met with us to understand our lifestyle and preferences. She was patient with us, walking us through the Manhattan decorating maze. She introduced us to sources for fabrics, window treatments, asian antiques, custom new furniture, rugs and lighting.  She adjusted her suggestions to accommodate our preferences, selections and out-of-town acquisitions.  She was collaborative and open-minded, her costs were transparent, and she listened.  We are very happy with the result and friends comment how restful and relaxing our place is.

> Coco has worked with twice- once in 2007 and again in 2010.  The first time she provided design services when we were renovating our apartment.  She was able to seamlessly work with the architect and contractor.  She provided design solutions that were reasonable and fitted our tastes.  Coco has a wealth of knowledge about furnishings and finishes in the NYC area.

> The second time she worked as an overseer on our home after it was damaged by flooding.  We were living overseas then and she oversaw the repairs.  Again Coco proved to be dependable and capable and made sure our home was brought back to its original state.

**Q: impressed and confused... What room in the house is this?** *(in Photo Questions)*

I have a brownstone and I am trying to figure out what space this room would exist in?.. is it the basement with skylights or an extension into the backyard? or neither?

A: Hello Safiyama, This is a Wine Tasting Room located in the sub-cellar, it is actually a room that extends underneath the garden.  There are skylights that are made of glass blocks that one can walk on above. Coco

Who makes the wallpaper and what is the pattern?

A: Thank you for your interest in the Powder Room design.  The wallpaper was custom made by de Gourney and cost $13,000. It was quite a gem of a powder room! Coco

Hello, what a beautiful inspiration your created. I was wondering what the brand n color of the wall paint is n trim color for the moldings. Thank you.

A: Benjamin Moore Seaspray \#941 for the walls, and Bavarian Cream OC-123 for the trim.  I use Bavarian Cream often for trim. I am glad you liked it!
