**★★★★★ — forevernow, Oct. 2018**

> We'd been struggling with our difficult kitchen layout and needed some fresh eyes and expertise. Judi came out and in a couple hours gave us a simple, elegant solution. She was timely and gave us just what we asked for. We would happily work with her again.

**Comment from Judith Kleine Architect, LLC:**

> Thank you so much, it was nice to work with you.

**★★★★★ — Bernard Thompson, June 2017**

> I worked with Judy over a period of months to finalize drawings, views, plans, elevations, sections, etc. for a building conversion from retail store to a restaurant. I found her to be very knowledgeable in all aspects of design and felt very comfortable with her work. The design plans related to each other well and came together as a cohesive and coordinated picture of the building. The drawings included more than sufficient views and information to illustrate and convey requirements related to the structural building modifications. All site utilities drawings coordinated with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection drawings in terms of utility locations, sizes, space requirements, and connections by one trade to another. All specifications were complete and consistent with drawings in terms of materials and products to be used and passed all building code requirements, accessibility requirements, and fire code requirements. Also, Judy was instrumental in providing guidance on how to obtain all required local, state and federal permits. I would highly recommend her for any project.

**Comment from Judith Kleine Architect, LLC:**

> Thank you for your kind words. It was a pleasure to see your plans become a reality.

**★★★★★ — Brian Tallman, Feb. 2017**

> I found Judy on this site. She responded to my request within hours. I was looking for a professional to go over my plans for a new build to find anything I missed so I could avoid issues. I can honesty say Judy and Greg were a God send. Great people with amazing talent and an overwhelming ability. Within a few days they had completed plans, following all codes, and tweaked a few areas that my drafts weren't great in. The best decision I've made in my house building process to contact her. Thank you Greg & Judy.

**Comment from Judith Kleine Architect, LLC:**

 - Description: This Client wanted an addition that looked like it belonged to the existing structure along with an updated kitchen, dining area and family room. The exterior gable was made to mimic the existing and help tie the whole building together. Many people who have visited have commented that they can not tell where the original 1920's house was and the addition begins. We were able to open up and expand the kitchen by removing a wall and adding a header while still maintaining the traditional look wit…

## Community Q&A

**Q: Backsplash in kitchen?** *(in Photo Questions)*

My kitchen cabinet tops and bottoms do not end at the same spot on the wall. one place the bottom is longer...other place top is longer...I do have a 4"backsplash that goes the distance of the lower cabinets. I want to purchase
Quartz countertops and I don't think they have a backsplash. So what do I do?

A: Quartz countertops can have a 2-4" backsplash added - it is not part of the top so will need epoxy/sealant. The other option is to tile the entire space between your cabinets with basic subway or glass tile pattern. Some artisans will paint plain tiles with a nice motif, fire them then install bring a unique design to your kitchen.

**Q: Bedding ..where to get it??** *(in Photo Questions)*

A: The bedding was purchased at a Dillard's store.
