> We picked Tajine Red Zellige tiles because they looked perfect in pictures on the website and they sent us several perfectly consistent sample tiles. This is not what we received.  We received tiles from different lots, with different thicknesses, color variations, often bowed, and at least a third with small chips.  The chips in the glazing revealed the underlying beige cement that looked completely different than the Tajine Red color.  We sent them dozens of photos of the defects and they replied that none of these were defects. If you search hard on the website, there is a quality control document with pictures of chips and other issues, but the document calls every level of defect “acceptable” and claims they add to the “charm”.

> Had an issue with our order. Customer Service escalated to Maury(sp?) who was especially slick, talked too much, had a lot of "amazing" and "outstanding" things to say, said our issue would be taken care of and made us feel like uneducated, unwanted customers. We have been waiting for almost 4 weeks now and nothing. No message, no response at all, and have not addressed our order concerns. It feels like they pride themselves on being amazing, but there are many tile companies with beautiful products AND outstanding service.

> Terrible, I would give zero stars if I could.

> We spent endless hours on their website choosing between the tiles we were going to use for our complete remodel, only looking at the tiles that were listed as In Stock on their website.

> After 2 weeks of research and comparison with the other materials we were going to be using in conjunction with the tiles, we finally placed our order for the three different tile designs we finally decided upon.  After doing so, and almost $3000 was charged to my credit card, I received an email the following day telling me that one of our choices was on back order with an ETA of over 2 months later, and one of our other 2 choices had barely enough to cover our order which was too risky.  So I asked that they just fulfill the one remaining choice that we had chosen.  Only to discover when they sent the recalculated cost, that although we had removed 18 out of 25 boxes from our original order (reducing 72% of our order), the final shipping cost for the remainder of our order was only reduced by 25%.  When I called to ask about this I was told that they had flat shipping costs.
> Zero apology for listing items as stocked when they were not in stock, zero customer service offer for all the time we wasted, and zero fair shipping cost.  I wasn't even asking for any special reduction, just the appropriate reduction to shipping cost considering my final order was only going to be 25% of my original order---through no fault of my own.  Rubbish customer service and rubbish website upkeep.  I ended up cancelling my entire order but I'll never get back the dozens of hours we spent on their website and time emailing and calling back and forth with their "customer service".

> It is worth mentioning that I checked back a few more times after cancelling my order and the out of stock tiles we had ordered were still listed as In Stock--unbelievable!  Beware and order at your own risk---definitely suggest calling for stock checks on any and every item you wish to purchase to save yourself wasted time.  Perhaps when their phone starts blowing up they'll finally update stock availabilities on their website.

> Our contractor had us order quite a few extra tiles. We reviewed the return policy and found a 30% restocking fee on these very expensive tiles. Despite the restocking fee we had no use for them and took the unopened packages to the UPS store and shipped back to LiLi at our cost.  Better to get 1/2 the money back than none at all right..? LiLi notified us that in the never opened packages (in the same boxes and condition as delivered to us) there were numerous broken or damaged tiles and reduced our refund to virtually nothing on nearly $1,000 in original cost tile. The packages were unopened from original shipment to us, boxes in perfect condition and were not turned away from LiLi as damaged on delivery to them.

> Hi Jennifer, we are sorry to hear you had a negative experience with our restocking fee. As our tiles are handmade and fragile, we are required to implement a 30% restocking fee since incoming lots do not always match previous lots, which makes returns quite tricky. We do our best to help clients calculate the quantity they will need prior to placing an order in order to minimize extra material. Additionally, our terms & conditions upon checkout mention the restocking fee and return policy. We go to great lengths to ensure every box shipped out of our warehouse is properly packaged to ensure it arrives in good condition, however, returns are often not packaged with the same amount of care when they are sent back to us, unfortunately resulting in broken & unsellable tiles. We appreciate your understanding of the fragile and delicate nature of our tiles. Nonetheless we hope you are happy with your material and that your project looks beautiful!

The quality is unmatched, no blurry designs that you see on tiles of lesser quality (and higher price!), clean edges, and color consistency.  I love that they can custom make tiles if you are willing to wait the lead time and pay the up charge to have something unique and special, and custom 12x12!  Make sure you use their recommended sealer, Dry-Treat STAIN-PROOF penetrating sealer, along with a non staining grout like Mapei CQ Flexcolor or Custom Fusion Pro, and you will have perfect results!  Top notch customer service and great in stock program that cannot be beat!
