AS'TUTE Studio is a San Francisco-based boutique interior design practice founded by Anastasia Stepanova.

At the heart of our design philosophy lies a deep understanding that each project is a unique opportunity to create a home that reflects our client's lifestyle and personality. We approach every project with a fresh perspective, eager to understand what home means to our clients, how they live in it, and what feelings they want it to evoke.
Our goal is to design interiors that are both timeless and deeply personal, with a focus on creating a harmonious balance between form and function.

After earning her Master's degree in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University in 2012, Anastasia has since worked with award-winning firms such as Roman and Williams, AvroKO, MAK Studio, and Marmol Radziner. Over the past decade, Anastasia has worked on a wide range of projects, from elegant private residences and boutique hotels to commercial and cultural developments.

**★★★★★ — HU-194521800, Sept. 2023**

> My husband and I hired Anastasia for consultation services related to a personal home remodel. We were impressed by her wealth of knowledge and adaptability in suggesting ideas that fit our lifestyle and budget, rather than pushing a one-size-fits-all approach. Her expertise is enhanced by her gentle approachability and personable nature. Anastasia gave us so many foundational ideas to work with, and it has been fun to play around with how those ideas may come to fruition. I would confidently recommend Anastasia to anyone looking to design their business or personal home,

**Comment from AS'TUTE Studio:**

> Thank you for your wonderful review, Cheryl! It's been a pleasure to be a part of this process and I'm excited to see how these ideas will come to life.

**★★★★★ — arthurdo, July 2023**

> Working with Anastasia was a truly satisfying experience. Her attention to detail and keen sense of aesthetics resulted in functional and visually appealing spaces that surpassed our expectations. Anastasia's background in both design and architecture was evident in her ability to create cohesive environments and make thoughtful material selections. For example, she collaborated seamlessly with our custom cabinet maker, ensuring the millwork achieved the desired visual impact. She came up with the idea to tile the walls and cabinets which made our store feel much more expensive than it actually costs. We highly recommend Anastasia for anyone seeking assistance with commercial tenant improvements or residential remodels. Her expertise and dedication make her a standout professional in the industry.

**Comment from AS'TUTE Studio:**

> Thank you very much for your kind words, Arthur, yours was a fun project to work on!

**★★★★★ — Xin Jin, June 2023**

> Anastasia designed a fantastic story front for us in San Francisco. I have worked with many designers and architects. Anastasia's work stand out because she has very acute attentions to details and keen sense of esthetics. Her background in both design and architecture was critically important because it helped us created very functional spaces that looked amazing. She was also very helpful with material selections. Everything in the store look good together. She was also very helpful working with our custom cabinet maker to make sure the millwork achieved the right visual impact her design intended.

> I highly recommend her to anyone who needs help with either commercial TI work or residential remodel.

**★★★★★ — Lana Orlova, June 2023**

> We worked with Astute Studio to develop a floor plan and select some finishes, furnishings, and lighting fixtures for our new home. As a result of Anastasia's attention to detail and expertise in selecting the right materials, our home is a reflection of our unique personalities. We couldn't have asked for a more elegant and sophisticated look!

**Comment from AS'TUTE Studio:**

> You were a pleasure to have as a client, Lana! Thank you for trusting us with your beautiful home.
