> I purchased a RB Townhouse in Wixom in May 2019. Beautiful design, horrible construction. They were good about doing the 1 year repair guarantee items, but there were tons of issues and lots happened after that year passed too. All three toilets had to be replaced because they clogged constantly. The originals were literally the cheapest you could buy at Home Depot. The ceiling in the garage had to be cut into to fix leveling issues on the second floor. The laminate on the first floor and the carpet on the third floor both had major repairs done. I got so tired of having the 1 year repair crews at my place for so many days that I finally gave up (my fault) and accepted the second rate fixes. After the 1 year repair work, it only got worse. The guest bathroom was only used occasionally the first year. Unfortunately, the tub/shower in it was poorly installed. A leak eventually began showing on the second floor ceiling near the kitchen. I had a plumber check it out. He showed me that the drain had literally no plumber's putty to seal it to the tub itself and there was no clear seal around any of the hardware. He was surprised at how poorly the installation had been. After repairing that, I had the ceiling fixed too. Guess what, that was not the only leak. Very slowly, more damage became visible on the newly repaired ceiling. A second leak source was discovered because of the grout work on the tiles. After calling yet another plumber, he showed me how cracks and gaps in the tile work was the source of the leak. He couldn't fix that. The latest plumbing issue occured last summer. I found stains on the wall trim and cracks in the linoleum behind the water heater closet. A cheap water heater was installed by RB and they didn't even put a pan under it. The heater broke and was leaking hot water for days and the drain in the closet couldn't keep up. I had to replace the whole thing. The technician who did the work showed me a number of poor initial installation issues that he had to repair to plumb the new unit correctly (which added to my costs significantly). While they win awards for being aesthetically well designed, RB builds lousy homes. I've owned a number of homes in my lifetime. This was by far my worse decision and my poorest investment.

> Robertson Brothers Homes has been terrific!  We are in the process of building a new home with them (scheduled for completion fall 2019).  They have been extremely supportive and kept us in the loop throughout the entire process.  Maria as our sales consultant has been outstanding.  She has answered all of our questions and provided us with great updates.  Tracey in the design studio did a great job of giving us guidance in designing the interior of our new home.
