Each had extensive experience and a portfolio which meant we knew they could do the job, but Richter was the one we felt we could 'work together' with. The project was 6 months long, and we lived there the entire time, with 2 young kids (4 and 6). Ron, Martin and crew are some of the most talented individuals I've meet (each in their own way). The professionalism and overall craftsmanship are 2nd to none. It's difficult to quantify what makes a better design/build firm after all is equal from a quality and cost perspective, but for us it was all the little things like the house being clean at the end of each day, calls always answered or returned quickly, crew always consistent when they arrived/left, and when small issues arose they'd talk through all options from the perspective of our best interest. This was very important to us because our design incorporated coffered ceilings, built ins, wainscotting and a one of a kind panel wall in our dining room. We knew that this is a job for a talented tradesman because all joints have to be tightly mitered and properly proportioned or they would look awful and not last. After speaking to Ron initially, I knew that his staff would execute these features without trouble. As it turns out, these features are amazing and really bring our home to the next level. > > If I haven't said it enough, the quality of finishes and craftsmanship in our home is like none other. All vendors who Ron appointed were punctual, professional and experts in their field.
