A: This is actually a ceramic tile floor! **Q: Who is the Architect. Looks like a Tom Kundig home.** *(in Photo Questions)* A: Thank you for the compliment! Like Tom Kundig, I am also from the Pacific NW and we both play with modern steel and glass that move in ways you don't expect. **Q: what is the name of the brick?** *(in Photo Questions)* Thanks A: The approved color board lists the stone veneer as Gold Quartzite (custom blend) by Anasazi. Sometimes the owner makes changes to approved selections to improve the outcome, and I believe they may have customized this specification. **Q: How do you mitigate flying bugs / insects with such an open plan?** *(in Photo Questions)* A: Great question! Fortunately, the upper desert doesn't have a lot of flying insects so this is not really an issue for this project.
