> Max Neu did all my cabinetry--kitchen, bathroom vanity, and built-in bookcase--for a full house remodel, and he did a fantastic job.  He was easy to communicate with, able to suggest ideas, and very patient with my many revisions and additions, working with me to give me the exact layout I wanted.  For my kitchen cabinets, I just showed him pictures of the style I liked and found a wood species and stain color which he was able to match beautifully.   The sample door he provided before starting the project was great, but when I saw the whole kitchen put together I was amazed by how perfectly he captured exactly what I had hoped for, from the crown molding to the distressing on the island.  Everyone who has seen the remodel has commented on how beautiful all the cabinetry is.  Max is a craftsman, and does quality work.  Not only that, but he delivered everything he promised on schedule.  I highly recommend Neu Cabinets; I'm so glad my contractor recommended him to me.  (I've included two pictures of my kitchen--same shot, different lighting.)

They also provided cabinet faces for custom build-ins I wanted.  They provided crown molding and custom moldings I needed to trim out replacement windows. **Q: New kitchen advice** *(in Before & After)*

We are renovating our 1950's kitchen-new cabinets, appliances, etc. could anyone provide advice on drawer versus door storage? I'm leaning towards more drawers instead of door storage on the lowers. Would love to hear any advice on where to start with this! Thank you!

A: A lot of the Kitchens I have been doing lately are all drawers for the bases,customers seem to really like them.I would even look at the corner drawers,I think they are much better than a Lazy Suzan.

I absolutely love this kitchen remodel we just completed! We transformed this dated kitchen into a warm & rustic retreat.  The island received a gorgeous green finish & island cabinetry redesign, beautiful reclaimed wood countertops, copper farmhouse sink & wine barrel chandelier. The perimeter cabinets received new doors & beautiful walnut finish, marble countertops & hand painted tile backsplash!

**Q: Wall in kitchen - what to do??** *(in Design Dilemma)*

need some advice on what to  do with this wall in our kitchen.  pics would help if you have ideas.

we thought about tiling it halfway with wainscoting at bottom. or wainscoating and then chalkboard paint at top.

A: Maybe you could add some panels in line with the cabinets to give an illusion the kitchen is bigger than it really is.

**Q: Cheapo Oak kitchen Transformation** *(in Before & After)*

We redid our whole main floor and I love it - especially transformed our out-of-date oak kitchen. Originally we had an estimate to replace all the kitchen cabinets for $20,000.  Instead we tried a do-it-yourself product for $200.  In addition, we replaced all the cabinet hardware and island countertop but kept the other countertop and the backslash.  We replaced all the oak trim and window casing with wide white ones and also replaced all the flooring, doors and light fixtures.  Our old-fashioned oak Bannister also had a hefty price tag to replace but instead we refinished the newel posts and replaced the balusters with metal rods.  Overall our house looks completely different already.  I still have to do the finishing touches of area rugs, drapes, pictures, etc.  It's close but not done yet!
