A: Thank you for your interest in this project, however, you would need to contact the builder, Skill, to find this out.

**Q: WHAT in the world do I do with this funky old built-in bookcase??!** *(in Design Dilemma)*

We are moving into our new older home soon. It's a great house but in a 50's time warp. There is a small study with A LOT of wood/cabin feel - that I actually kinda like but it's a toss up. Because of how the fireplace is positioned and this bookcase taking up a whole wall there are few options for where to put any furniture except against the window. 

So the question is:
A.  Do we tear out the built-in and make some more seating space?
B. Keep the built-in, but then how the heck would I update this thing with all the wood?? It looks SO dated. 

Help please Houzzers!

A: You could repaint the cabinet, and if you want to update it, you could have new doors made, with new hinges, which would update it. Furniture doesn't have to be against the wall. You can put a couch backing up to the bookcase, with enough room to walk behind it and open the doors. That would have you facing the window and the fireplace. If you painted the rest of the room a lighter color, you could make the bookcase a focal point with a darker color, or do that on the fireplace, as suggested above.

Where can I find this rug?

A: Hi Empanada5, I am the photographer, so I don't have any information on the furnishings or paint in this room, however, I do recognize several items as being from Ikea, so I would assume the rug is, too. It looks to be their style. This photo is a few years old now, and I don't remember seeing the rug in their stores, but you may find something nice there that works. june

**Q: Gameroom furniture** *(in Photo Questions)*

Where did you find the storage furniture and clear color boxes that goes in it?

A: Hello! I am not the owner or designer, but the photographer, however, I do recognize some of the things in the room. I believe the white cube is from Ikea. The clear storage with the white tops can be found in lots of places, maybe Ikea, but probably also places like Home Depot, Lowe's and The Container Store. I'm not sure about the wood-look drawer unit on the left. The small rolling cart at the far corner is probably also Ikea.  I have seen the chairs and table at Ikea. Have fun furnishing!
