Kathy Samaan Noumi, artist and designer, launched Samaan Design Group, her namesake brand after 10 years of renovating and selling her own homes across multiple U.S. states. What seemed like a windy road culminated in an interior design company which specialized in monochromatic, elegant, and above all else synergistic designs. Her goal is to bring an enlightened atmosphere to every space she creates.

Kathy’s design philosophy goes hand in hand with the simple idea that subtlety and elegance can still pack a lot of personality. Her monochromatic spaces are not just impactful but serenely beautiful.

Samaan Design Group produces work for public, commercial, and residential clients. Whether it's for multi-family, private homes, corporate offices, and everything in between, this design firm can transform any space with professional ease.

### Featured Review

**★★★★★ — bjbrusco, March 2023**

> Kathy transformed my dining room and living room area - the first two spaces you see when you enter my house. When I started looking for help with design, my goal was to make these two spaces stand out, but also be cohesive. Kathy took that vision and made it a reality. Kathy was easy to work with - not intimidating in the least - and she really listened to what I wanted for the rooms and how I planned to use the space. She also gave me many options on pricing so that I could decide where to splurge and where to save.
>
> Our family is loving the new spaces and we couldn't have done it without Kathy and her team. She has an eye for design and takes all of the pain out of getting the work done. She handled everything from start to finish. We couldn't be happier with the work she did and the experience we had working with her. I would highly recommend!

> Kathy was a pleasure to work with! She was professional, insightful, and creative. She was able to design a perfect space for us! Her attention to detail and her ability to connect with us was impressive and helped make the experience enjoyable and stress free. I would highly recommend Samaan Design Group for any future projects!

> When speaking about design I’ve met my fair share of designers. When we found Kathy, we wanted to remodel our apartment; including the kitchen and master bathroom. She really took the time to understand what we wanted, how we lived, and the little details that could lend in helping us live a better life in our space.
>
> Kathy’s eye for detail along with her project’s unique vision and innate understanding of what we wanted even when we had no clue, made our entire process stress-free. It was as if she knew us better than we know ourselves and delivered a final concept that was well above our expectations. From the unique marble tile in our master bathroom to the stunning white quartz in the kitchen we were blown away.
>
> The transformation of our apartment from drab and dark into a modern, fresh, luxury space where we can now feel proud to entertain or just lounge on our beautiful velvet couch was a gift. We can never fully repay her for this vision come to life, but we’re glad to have made a friend in her, a friend we can reach out to time and again for any project. We not only trust her, but we highly recommend her to anyone that asks. And they ask pretty often because the work speaks for itself.

**★★★★★ — Wendy R., Dec. 2020**

> Kathy is a fantastic asset to have when it comes to design. We worked with her on remodeling our first floor, which included: our dining room, living room, and second entertainment area off the kitchen. She has an eye for putting spectacular color combinations together. I had my heart set on a monochromatic scheme and she definitely delivered. Her knowledge in paint selection combined with sourcing furniture is second to none. She is friendly and professional, always thoughtfully placing items that make sense for our family. Being that both myself and my husband work she made the whole process streamlined and easy. From selections to the finished product it was as if she lifted a weight off of our backs and created a warm inviting environment in the process always staying true to who we are and never losing her signature style.
