Two workers came to install them and the foreman passed by in the morning to make sure the workers understood the task at hand. They were courteous, fast and professional. Both closets have sliding doors and the closets needed to be perfectly horizontally aligned. It was a pleasure to see the accuracy with which they did this. IKEA sells these as if anyone can install them but this stuff is not that easy. The closets are perfect and the doors slide beautifully. I do however work closely with Susan Wain, owner at Modern Family Kitchens. She has excellent ikea product knowledge, and she provides design work remotely. You give her accurate measurements of your rooms, and she will generate the most suitable kitchen for you. Just mention my name if you decide to contact her. Best regards, and good luck with your project Jan Jorissen **Q: Were panels used on upper cabs to fill the gap up to ceiling?** *(in Photo Questions)* I can see there are side panels but I can not tell from the top. I am soon getting the same cabinetry and trying to decide if I just want to raise cabinets up to ceiling or fill the gap with the trim/panel/whatever it is called ;) A: In some cases I actually lift the adjacent pantry cabinet. The result is that the toekick under the pantry is going to be higher, and therefore it doesn't line up. The white fridge has a different finish than the cabinets. But to me acceptable when there are not too many other white colors in the kitchen. Think of the counters, backsplash, wall and ceiling color. Too many shades of white will look messy/incoherent. **Q: Cabinets** *(in Photo Questions)* What is the name of these cabinets? Would like to find at my local ikea. Need to update the look of this exterior** *(in Design Dilemma)* Will replace the roof. Need suggestions on colors, etc. Going to replant the hedges in the entry to another spot in the yard to open up the front entrance. I'm stumped on colors to "modernize" this 80s exterior. A: If your neighborhood allows it you should consider a mid century modern facelift. Stucco the brick, brighten up the colors, add more windows, etc. you have a beautifull house with lots of potential to do a face lift. I would like to know what you used to create the fridge surround and the island. I am going to use your kitchen as my model. Also, what wall paint did you use?
