The first estimate was for $5361.87 but the final payment was $7505.45. I kept getting adjusted invoices and the cost was going up and up. The actual upholstery work was good but the touch up was disappointing since I was paying $120/hour for this. It was difficult for me to talk to Alice about my concerns. Now I need to take 4 of my chairs back for them to ‘fix’ the touch up. This the reason for the 2 stars. I could not have found a better shop. Their attention to detail and customer courtesy was impeccable . They were all business and could see I was nervous but they calmed me right down, Alice went thru several patterns before we found one we liked and when Don looked at the chairs he gave recommendations on what needed to be fixed. And when I got the chairs back ,what a wonderful job they did. Also, it would be better to put a nice mirror, with sides as thick as the floor where the gold framed picture is. That should be removed asap.
