> Jay Summers is professional and keeps his word to the smallest details.
> He hired top subcontractors ( Like hardwood refinishing, that I happen to check on my own before the project , and they were the most expensive estimate). He demanded and expected top quality work from his workers and subcontractors. At times, he created more work and cost for himself to get the job right. Like moving power outlets at the end of a backsplash because it didn’t look right too close to the edge with no additional cost to the contract.

> Jay just completed a second job for us, and we can't be happier. He renovated our kitchen a couple years ago and a master bath this time around. As an architect and contractor, he was able to provide us with beautiful design suggestions, while keeping our budget in mind. Ours is an older home, so we feared unexpected costs once walls were down. However, Jay did a thorough assessment before giving us the quote so there were no surprises. Over the two jobs, he managed the removal of lead paint, asbestos, and mold with care and thoroughness, explaining to me at each step how he addressed them. The current job required was covered by insurance, and he worked with our adjuster to make sure that they covered the full cost of a renovation of equal quality to what we had.
